I will set the record straight now and note that this does not look as much of a difference as Wind
Waker looked as that jumped two generations.
Wind
Waker looked very cartoony; Twilight Princess looked more realistic; Skyward Sword was bright and colorful.

The Zelda team clearly spent some time and energy making this new version of Wind
Waker look as good as it can.

looked like a glorious mixing of the cel shaded Wind
Waker game and the more serious Twilight Princess game.
Look at Splinter Cell, TLoZ: Wind
Waker and Deus Ex: HR.
infact, most of the recent tales games, Valkyria Chronicles and then you have Wind
Waker which
looks more on the cartoon side than the computer generated flat
look.
The art style almost
looks like a mashing of the art styles of Skyward Sword and Wind
Waker and it's very good to
look at.
The only Zelda game that got a cartoon style sofar is Wind
Waker, and that is also the best
looking Zelda game of all times.
It did have online multiplayer, but it
looked a lot worse than what I've seen of wind
waker HD.
Smash bros is pretty much the same as the last game, mario kart
looks ok, dk
looks like more of the same from wii, Hell the Dk games on snes had more effort and felt more like whole games and less like cop outs for money, do nt get me wrong DK for wii was good but was nothing even close to the old ones, do nt care about wind
waker its an old game that i played on my gamecube a few times.
They said that they created small portions of all 3 games to see what they'd
look like in 3D and decided to go with Wind
Waker.
I wish I could go back 11 years and erase my memory of wind
waker so I could experience it for the first time again in HD, it really does
look that gorgeous.

I missed Wind
Waker on the Gamecube and I just started playing it two nights ago for the Wii U. I really like the artwork and I think it was a refreshing step away a more traditional Zelda -

Waker I fell instantly in love with it and thought it was way better
looking than the tech demo.
Mario Galaxy 3 sounds Iike a very safe idea, but also, Zelda Wind
Waker HD has shown that Nintendo is starting a possible trend of re releasing classics with a great new
look.
When you run games in 1080p, they're either not too far removed visually from their predecessors (Smash Bros. on Wii U doesn't
look THAT much better than Brawl) and cut a lot of corners, or they're remakes of GameCube games (Wind
Waker) running at 30 fps.
Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas
looks like a Zelda clone at first with inspiration taken from some of the classic Zelda games like Wind
Waker and the 2D Zelda games for handhelds, but it carries a certain charm once you spend some time with it.

looked absolutely out of this world compared to the gamecube version, it was good for fans and the generation who never played it, my tv boasts very high contrast though lol good ol plasma technology, I think some HD re releases enhance the game, some don't in my experience, WWHD definitely enhanced the experience, really hope Capcom one day port Okami HD over to the Wii U, y ’ know.....
Wind
Waker is my BIG game that I'm
looking forward to too, as I've never played it before so it's a whole new Zelda for me, but this game is good enough (and different enough) to warrant a purchase.
Rime is obviously going to draw unavoidable comparisons to the graphical style of Wind
Waker and I'd be the first to admit that, on the surface, both games do
look rather similar.
This is a testament to the efforts of Tequila Works, as even over a decade later Wind
Waker holds up as one of the best
looking games ever made.

looks like Nintendo is putting a crap load of content for new and old players of Wind

This is why I don't understand doomsday articles this early in a consoles life span, The Wii u barely has any games worth buying yet, but as soon as it does then the sales will skyrocket, I like the Wii u, Now I just wish I had more money to buy more game's, Man I want Lego City, Think about it if Monster hunter can make the sale's raise this much what will happen when Super smash bros Wii u, Pikmin 3, Mario kart U, Yoshi's yarn, 3d Mario game, Zelda Wind
