because you can't really explain or define someone into believing... you can only live out your beliefs in a
way that you share with others, and when given the opportunity shine a light, or point a direction, or
walk along with someone for a bit).
Personally i think those specific prayers are a distraction most of the times we pray these prayers

Reading this verse seems to say we are saved when we believe and that once saved we may which implies either to continue to believe or continue to live our lives for us though preferably it is best to follow Christ with all our heart
because if we
walk according to the flesh satan has the opportunity to destroy our lives through the consequences of sin till we repent.Whereas if we
walk in righteousness we are covered under the blood of Christ and protected from satans influence though he can oppress us he is on Gods leash as God is sovereign and in this
way satan is used to perfect our faith and draw us closer to Christ.

You seem to have highlighted particular sins as though some are worse than others all sin leads to death not just the big ones
because we all are sinners. All have gone astray none are righteous.I believe the worst sin is pride idolatry is the first commandment we set ourselves as Gods.Regardless of what the sin is, our hearts are condemned by our pride. It wasnt the sin of homosexuality or sexual deviance that destroyed sodom. It was there pride and it is one of our biggest stumbling blocks in our christian
walk or it certainly was for me.We look at the story of the adulterous woman and we think adultery is a terrible crime but the story is for our benefit to show that we all are sinners that Jesus does nt condemn us but came to save us.And when Jesus says go and sin no more he was not only talking to the woman but everyone else that was around judging her for her sin its a universal message that we all need to see that we all are condemned
because of our sin that Jesus came to save us and that we turn from our sin and follow him.

Yahweh in hebrew means my Lord and is a common reference meaning supreme God.In the bible satan is referred specifically as the adversary in hebrew or slanderer in greek its quite clear there is no confusion.Satan is not in the same league as God he is sovereign in fact God has satan on a leash and limits his control particularly over his people as we read in Job.Christians need to realise that satan can influence us if we
walk according to the flesh. In the case of David calling a cencus meant he gave in to his pride he wanted to know how many soldiers he had believing numbers would give him the upper hand and so Satan took advantage of his weakness and Davids choice displeased God.David of all people should have known as he as a young man had defeated goliath a mighty warrior and it was
because of his faith and trust in God that he overcame. But it wasnt God that made David make that decision it was his own and satan tempted him and he gave in to that desire In the two verses there is no confusion if you understand how God and satan operate i did at one stage have the same issue with Jesus sending the demons into the pigs why would he help satan or at least it appeared that
way?

My failure to realize what was happening to my mind sooner, has to do with the fact that Christians are told that they must draw close to God in prayer and meditation, that they should

because he will tell them what to do.

because of this and in my half sleep in my dreams i was just visiting your website and finding my comment missing and i as pleasing god and the holy spirit but as i was receiving my spirit again and again as i mentioned this in my previous comment i was abusing in my mind i couldn't stop abusing and i have a very good mother she tried to wake me but i told her not to do and it was happening same things again and again and i told my mother again the half truth

And
because of that, if Christians are to emulate Jesus (1 John 1:6, «Whoever claims to live in Him must

Tim i found it liberating to just do what the Lord wants you to do i work within his boundarys and yes i attend church and enjoy it.I love the people and i love hearing the word and worshipping the Lord even if others are still bound up with traditions thats not my
walk thats theres. My focus is to do what the Lord wants me to do.There have been times i have said no to the pastor he does nt understand why i choose not to lead the worship.i query him as well regarding the idea that its not just performing a function
because there is a need our hearts have to be in the right place so that the Lord can use us but he did nt understand where i was coming from and thats okay
because of that i just said no until my heart is right i am better not being involved in leading. But i am happy to be an encouragement to others in the worship team i havent wanted to be the leader i have done that in the past.So my focus has been just the singing and being part of different worship teams i think the Lord has other plans as the groups i am in seem to be changing at the same time i am aware that i do nt to worry about change as the Lord knows whats best.I used to be quite comfortable leading the music but that was before when i was operating in my own self confidence and pride. The Lord did such a huge change in my life that i lost my self confidence and that is not a bad thing at all as my spiritual growth has been incredible. The big change was my identity moved from me and what i could do to knowing who i was in Christ and that he is my strength and confidence. Now i know that without him i can do nothing in fact i am dependent on his empowerment through his holy spirit all the time in everything. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music at another church i attend multiple churchs although i attend two regularly one has services in the morning and one has services in the evening so the two do nt really clash. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music its been two years since i did that and i was worried on how i would go.All i can say is that it went really well and
because i stepped out in Faith the Lord really blessed the morning to the congregation. The difference is knowing that i serve the Lord with the gifts he has given me but my heart has to be right and when i do it in his
way it builds up the body and it brings glory to him.May the Lord continue to show you what he wants you to do even though others may not understand your reasons i just want you to know that you do nt have to pull away completely just work within the boundarys that the Lord gives you and do nt feel pressured by others expectations to do anything that feel uncomfortable.Be involved just as you feel lead by the holy spirit even if it is in a very minor
way take small steps.regards brentnz
The incident with the man carrying the bedroll is the exact opposite to the woman caught in adultery her issue was sin the paralysed mans issue is something completely different. The incident of the man carrying the bedroll gives it away jesus highlights it
because it is rediculous they have turned Gods laws in to petty man made laws.so the danger for him is self righteousness to become like they were followers of the law but not followers of God that is the danger that we all face either to come to terms with the sin in our lives and or come to terms with our pride and self righteousness the answer to both is the same deny the flesh and
walk by the spirit and go and sin no more. That
way we evade these traps of the flesh.
I have had a change of heart on this and i believe that jesus means what he says for us to go and sin no more. Why
because the women caught in adultery is us it is a universal message for us sinners judged and condemned by the law if we do nt want to be under the law then the only
way is to follow jesus but not according to the flesh but according to the spirit.
Because if we
walk in the spirit we will not gratify the desires of the flesh.Which means we will not sin that sums up the message once having been saved by jesus we follow him and
walk by the spirit the message is clear and he provides the means for us to do it through his holy spirit. For sin shall not have dominion over us we are more than conquerers overcomers through Jesus Christ.
The first requirement in attracting new apostles is a holiness that appeals to the good and the noble of heart,
because it makes friends of them, a friendship which is not merely social, but which derives from the touch of God within, draws further upwards to union and communion with God, and
walks a common
way with Christ and for Christ.
Racheal that is great God forgives you for your past decisions and he will help you to make better decisions. It is the Lord who empowers us to live the christian
walk we cant do it in our strength
because we all are weak. Our naturally inclination is towards sin that is why we must surrender all our heart to the Lord.In the past i tried to live as a christian in my strength and failed miserably i felt guilty and condemned and powerless to change that is why we need the holy spirit.Since putting my trust in the holy spirit he has helped me to be an overcomer and live a christian life.I realise the quickest
way of getting my life right is when i get thoughts that arent of the Lord to just admit them to him that i am weak and need his strength to help me and he does.He is your strength as well and will help you to become all he created you to be which is really awesome. In Christ you are more than an overcomer more than a conquerer.regards brentnz
Neville you are quite right it is a process of growing i do nt believe Jeremy is saying we should sit there like a lump of clay and do nothing. But rather than doing something thinking that that will add to the work of Christ is pointless. We are expected to
walk by faith but alot of what is expected from the church or others are dead works and are done
because the church expects us to do them. The
way around this is to say no just do what the Lord wants you to and please him put him first. That
way you are still
walking by faith and growing in Christ rather than wasting time just trying to keep something going that needs to die so that Christ can be elevated to the highest position.brentnz
Gil if we only received one blessing in this life and that was eternal life in Jesus Christ that alone would be enough but we are blessed
way more than that
because we have been sent his holy spirit to help us overcome our old nature. He never leaves us nor forsakes us whether good or bad happens he strengthens us in our weakness. It says in the bible that the rain falls on both the righteous or the wicked God is fair to all whether they deserve it or not he can not be anything else than a holy righteous loving and fair God.I do nt need to convince you to believe about God he will reveal himself to you if you are seeking the truth as he is the truth.I do nt try and make others believe its pointless.I know without a doubt that i am saved and my sins are forgiven. As a christian it will a joy to be with the Lord there is no fear in death for those that love him.In the meantime i serve him with all my heart until he calls me home.I love talking about the Lord but each of us must
walk according to what we believe.I trust my life to Jesus Christ and i choose to follow him who do you follow?
We can begin to
walk though feebly in the
way of love because «The Way has come to us»
way of love
because «The
Way has come to us»
Way has come to us».32
this is just my own personal theory, but I suspect the reason Jesus cursed the fig tree that He did, was
because he was probably tired, and hungry to the point of low blood sugar or hypoglycemia, and it made Him irritable... naturally, He was
walking around in a body like ours, as it is said, like us in every
way but sin... everybody tries to read something woowoo theological into it but maybe He was just tired and hungry, and irritability is a symptom for a number of conditions, but especially blood glucose or migraine issues... maybe He had migraines... I get those myself... just my theory, so the two Bible scholars that keep coming on here shouldn't shoot bible verses at me... just sayin... Good «toon, David
To stop sinning is impossible for us on the one hand but is possible in Christ so what must we do for a start we must accept Jesus and we must be born again. Our old nature must be crucified and we need to
walk by the spirit of God.But is it a reality yes definitely
because the word says that sin shall not have dominion over us.The victory is found in Christ not in ourselves
because we can not do it in our strength so we humble ourselves before God in our weakness so that by doing so allows the holy spirit to empower us to do what only he can do.In that
way we become overcomers more than conquerers.I am seeing the reality of what Christ can do with a sinner like me as he moulds me in the person i was destined to be in him.
Now this i say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer
walk as the gentiles do, in the futility of their minds.18 They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God
because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart.19 They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity.20 But that is not the
way you learned in Christ!
Jesus certainly knew of better
ways of traveling than by
walking (and after His resurrection, He shows one of these by appearing and disappearing at will), but as God in human flesh, He limited Himself to
walking because this was the available method for most humans at that time.
I was just thinking about her today, by chance, and her amazing reversion,
because my mother read her Jesus books... And I was thinking, damn, it's such crap the
way she talked about how she stopped being an atheist
because of the historicity of Jesus, no rational person can make that argument, she
walking on glass, then BOOM!
Why are our bodies a temple
because the spirit of the Lord indwells in us in fact our bodies are holy
because of Christ and should be respected. Its
because we are carnal that we chose to please ourselves if we
walk in the truth we woiuld know that.
Because we are called to be holy as he is holy in all our
ways that includes thoughts speech and actions.brentnz
I believe the words and life of Christ are worth emulating and that His

Also maybe it seems like a lot to make your dog a cake, but when I compare it to the money we spend on special dog food for her allergies or that one time we took her to the vet at 1 in the morning

way under an hour seems like a
walk in the park.

George Graham came to my mind yesterday.I don't think of the THIEVING B • • • ARD too often
because I despise him for what he did.Stole money.Got found out.Gave it back.Got sacked. It seemed he was beginning to lose his
way a bit and it was not to be too long before before he either
walked or he was pushed. But the memory of him coming to us as a manager (from his first job at Millwall) when the majority of fans wanted Venebles (despite his obvious Spud past) was of a keen enthusiastic young manager who wanted the opportunity to manage this club. What happened over the following years would have earned him his own Bronze Statue if he had not got caught with his hands in the clubs till. But what an impact he made.
It's been a testing two weeks for football fans,
because although there should be no prouder moment than seeing your nation
walk out for an international fixture, these days anything bar the major international tournaments just seem to get in the

The
way that things have been going for Arsenal in recent years, I have to wonder whether Arsene Wenger has been
walking under ladders while breaking mirrors,
because if the Gunners did not have regular bad luck then we would have no luck at all.

Steve Bould should do the right thing and question Wenger on this aspect of our game, if he is told it will stay the same

I
