German site WinFuture has discovered three
devices in Google's AOSP (Android Open Source Platform) code with the codenames «Muskie», «
Walleye» and «Taimen».
According to previous reports, Google was working on three Pixel
devices, including
Walleye (Pixel 2), Muskie (Pixel XL 2), and Taimen (unknown
device).
As for the
device codenamed
walleye, this will be the smaller Pixel 2 and will feature a 4.97 - inch display with a screen resolution of 1080p full HD.
Muskies are larger than
walleyes, which is why it's believed that the
device with that codename will be the larger XL model.
It seems 2017 is going to be the year of smartphones with bezel-less displays and we are expecting the same with the upcoming Google Pixel 2
devices that are codenamed Taimen and
Walleye.
The details are extremely sparse so far, but we do know that two new

devices could mean that they are similar to the Pixel and Pixel XL in some way or another.
