Formed in 1976 by a passionate group of visual and performing artists when the movement to tear down the walls between visual and performing arts was active nationwide, the CAC expresses its mission by organizing world class curated exhibitions, performances, and public programs that educate and enlarge audiences for the arts.
The CAC developed a temporary public art program for the Lobby which currently features dramatic, vibrant and colorful floor - to - ceiling mural wrapped walls and staircases by Assume Vivid Astro Focus.
The two - story, sky - lit lobby will be updated to reflect RFR's singular vision and aesthetics, including Venetian plaster white walls, granite and white terrazzo flooring, interior landscaping, a rotating world - class public arts program, contemporary lighting and concierge station, and an amenity coffee bar and convenience stand, as well as modern elevator cabs and a newly designed entry canopy.
