And luckily, the talking points of this year's TIFF are varied: the highly anticipated return of Lucrecia Martel; adventurous new films from familiar faces like Alexander Payne and Darren Aronofsky; and mesmerizing documentary work from Wang Bing, Véréna Paravel and Lucien Castaing - Taylor.
