Wario take part in, like Mario's taken part in so many kinds of games?
Wario took the reins this year as three major titles were released under his name.

In 1994's Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3,
Wario took center stage as the protagonist, as well as top - billing over his adversary Mario, cementing his place as a breakout star for Nintendo.

It only
took a couple of months, but
Wario's latest collection of mini-games has finally arrived on the Nintendo Wii U.
While we know about a lot of games (including Game &
Wario, which I hope isn't
taking up all of Intelligent Systems» time), the company's certainly prone to releasing an Excite Truck or a Steel Diver to little fanfare.
Going by
Wario Land there is a massive misappropriation of funds, with billions of dollars being spent on giant tributes to their princess and helicopters for her boyfriend — a so - called plumber who has never been seen doing anything but
take drugs and assault wildlife.
Not the game, but
Wario himself, he moves very slowly and it
takes a fair amount of time to get used to it.
Wario's motivation for
taking up this latest quest is all about the money.
This game improved on everything Paper Mario had, making fights now in front of a live audience who may assist or hurt you, the ability to let your partner
take the lead, and cool badges like the
Wario and Luigi costume badge.
While R&D 1
took their creation in a whole new direction, popular developer Treasure (creators of titles such as Gunstar Heroes and Astro Boy: The Omega Factor) had the opportunity to create a more traditional
Wario title for the Nintendo GameCube.
As the story begins, the world comes under attack from a mysterious new force, and after Mario is
taken out of the battle and Kirby rescues one of the two Princesses captured (Zelda or Peach),
Wario shows up to blast the other one with some sort of gun that instantly turns her into a statue, before grabbing her and making his escape.
Wario may be overweight and not particularly model - handsome, but apparently he still has enough brains to do what it
takes to make money: WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame $!
Wario held a stage of his very own as well in WarioWare Inc., a colorful set of platforms in an elevator that would
take you to different floors with different microgames and rules for the Brawlers to adhere to within the short time given, with those who do not being penalized.
And while most of it got dropped when Martinet
took over
Wario's voice in the Mario spinoffs, there's even a bit of a German influence in
Wario's portrayals up to this day.
«The Add On Content packs include classics like
Wario's Gold Mine from Mario Kart Wii, as well as new courses, some
taking place in the worlds of The Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing.
For most racers the finish line is the goal, but if you combine
Wario with this bad boy, the game
takes on a whole new meaning.
And if that were indeed the case, then there's little doubt that his creators would have allowed themselves a small chuckle as
Wario's popularity
took off, allowing him to effectively become to R&D 1 what Mario was to Nintendo EAD.
And a fairly basic story with
Wario trying to get enough treasure to buy his own castle by attempting to
take it from Captain Syrup's forces on Kitchen Island.
Foiled once again in his attempts to get even with Mario, Nintendo
took a very different tact for
Wario's next appearance...
There are plenty of punches, jumps, kicks, and tricks to master throughout the gameplay and various forms for
Wario to
take, like Flaming
Wario, Vampire Bat
Wario, or Zombie
Wario that can be used to uncover some of the pyramid's hidden hoard.
The story follows
Wario on vacation, where he's awakened by some strange creatures
taking treasure behind a waterfall.
Among these other differences,
Wario also
took to using different power - ups from Mario.
For whatever reason,
Wario decides to
take over some woods, and sends in a small army to do so, only to be thwarted by Peach's # 1 Mushroom Retainer, as well as classic Super Mario Bros. 2 villain - turned - hero Birdo and old nemesis Wanda the Fairy.

Wario Stadium, the course's hazard - dense design is more reminiscent of Mario Kart: Double Dash's Waluigi Stadium while its music is
taken from Mario Kart DS» Waluigi Pinball.
