Some of it could be heavy legs, but the
lack of production from the
Warriors backcourt in
Game 5 could very well be a defensive battering by the Spurs.
The roster is
lacking I'll agree with that as a big Fire Emblem fan, but as a big Hyrule
Warriors fan as well, this is the one of the best
Warriors games out there, it looks great, the characters are what you love and the
game play is top notch.
Hyrule
Warriors Definitive Edition
lacks the Performance / Quality Mode options seen in Fire Emblem
Warriors, though unlike in that
game where I found playing local multiplayer in Quality Mode to be borderline unplayable, I never had that problem in Hyrule
Warriors, even when playing split screen, and the resolution appears to be better than what FEW's Performance Mode was, too.
What Fire Emblem
Warriors lacks in story originality, it greatly makes up for it with superb artwork that makes characters from previous Fire Emblem
games look exactly like we always pictured them and as for the cut - scenes, they're like miniature movies.
Yet the boring, one - dimensional gameplay and terrible dialogue aren't the
game's most insulting blemishes; that prize belongs to Rogue
Warrior's total
lack of value.
After that the number of compatible releases gets a tad nebulous, with upcoming Japanese launches for
games like Kingdom Hearts 3D and Dynasty
Warriors VS that currently
lack any real international release date.
Fate / Extella: The Umbral Star is a capable Dynasty
Warriors clone but its
lack of imagination when it comes to enemies, gameplay, and modes holds it back from being a great
game.

Personally, I found the 3DS launch range to be a little
lacking — while there's a mix of
games including Lego Star Wars III, Pilotwings Resort, Samurai
Warriors: Chronicles and Pro EVolution Soccer 3DS, the # 30 price tag made me a little wary of spending out on something I didn't know too much about.
Unlike other Dynasty
Warriors game, the combat is
lacking in entertainment and uniqueness.
Dragon Ball Z
games were
lacking in originality for so many years, and then Xenoverse came along last year and gave Dragon Ball Z fans what they really wanted, to create their own
warrior and fight alongside their favourite Dragon Ball Z characters.
One further highly obvious issue with Dynasty
Warriors 9 is in the
lack of
game modes available.
All I have to compare this
game with is my
Warriors Orochi and Dynasty
Warriors experience, which is also
lacking but I have at least played my share of the
games in those series.
As the
game progresses, the main player character (able to be named yourself in time - honored DQ tradition) gets the Zoom spell, able to fly to key areas of each map, but even with this handy ability the
lack of horses or even a Hyrule
Warriors sprint can be a pain.
