This decision — I
'm still calling it 5 - 4 in favor of
Hobby Lobby —
is a direct result of Citizens United (the Corporations
Are People case), and indeed allows anyone to use religious objections as a magic phrase to allow anyone to break any law they
like...
A friend told me that maybe the reason jobs
are never fully gratifying
is so that we can appreciate the many other parts of life,
like family,
hobbies, friends and awesome shows
like Scrubs.
This
is why we need regulation, to keep self - righteous company execs
like those at
Hobby Lobby from forcing their views on employee's bodies.
