watch comes with three different modes:
icon, so kids know when to tackle certain tasks, digital, so they can read the time, and analog, so they learn how to tell time with a clock

watch faces you recently downloaded.
And we're mostly inclined to agree, but it's not at all intuitive that the 6 on the
watch face doubles as a home button to get you to those
icons, and then you have to understand what each
icon is for.
Some
watch faces may have extra settings, denoted by the gear
icon under them.
Colorful
watch faces appear nice and vibrant on screen, and I actually like that the bigger screen helps make Android Wear 2.0's font and
icons more legible.
From the
watch face, access the Settings app by swiping down and tapping the corresponding
icon.
Swipe up from the
watch face and you'll see a new
icon that shows two greek theater masks.
This basically feels like having shortcuts on the screen, with a tap on the
icon opening the application, and the best part is that it can work with any
watch face.
Even on the
watch face you'll see a yellow mask

Tap on any
watch face to set it, or on the cog
icon at the top to get at more settings, like whether the always - on display and the tilt - to - wake feature are enabled or disabled.
Android Wear 2.0 supports complications, so you can change the little information widgets shown on most
faces - to do this, tap and hold on the
watch face, then tap the cog
icon.
Tap the trash can
icon to delete the
watch face.
NOTE: You can move all the
icons except for the
Watch face, which must stay in the center of the layout.
There's also the FaceDesigner app that lets you completely build your
watch face from scratch, by using a library of pre-chosen
icons and backgrounds,
watch hands and more.
There are some standard, built - in apps on the
watch that can not be removed, such as Settings, Maps, Weather, Alarms, Timers, and Stopwatch and the Time
icon that brings you back to the
watch face.
The Workout
icon will appear at the top of the
watch face where the red Notification dot usually is.
When you see a card notification, the
watch face will show smaller
icons instead of massive space - hogging messages.
It's a pretty simple
icon, looks like a

Here you will find
icons for power - saving mode, airplane mode, water lock mode, do not disturb,
watch face always - on mode, display brightness, music play control, and full settings access.
This update also includes recent app complications, which will be an

watch face of the most recently opened app.
Running a slightly tweaked Android 4.2 interface (upgradeable to 4.3),
icons and text on the
watch face were easy enough to see, although the dial pad on the phone app was somewhat crowded.
Now I tap on the activity
icons on the
watch face to see my steps or heart rate, avoiding multiple swipes and taps like before.
The main
watch face shows
icons depending on which features — like heating, or having the doors unlocked — are active, and if you walk away without locking up properly, you'll get a push notification on your wrist from which you can secure the car.
You'll also see a «gear»
icon for settings appear on the
watch face in the Android Wear app, from there you are able to set your settings for the
watch face.
By hitting the center button from the
watch face, you get transported to a scrollable list of apps, with one
icon on each screen as you move up and down.
And, in the photo above, you can see a new cellular

Icons for calls, battery life, calendar, alarm, email and messages are laid out neatly left to right along the
watch face's bottom half.
You can tap the gear
icon below some
watch faces if you want to customize them before switching.
While you're connected to Wi - Fi or your iPhone, you won't have any indicators on your
watch face; if you swipe up from the bottom of the screen into Control Center, you'll either see a green iPhone
icon in the upper left corner, or a blue Wi - Fi
icon (with its traditional curved bars representing signal strength).
Swipe left on the
watch face to scroll through preset options, and tap the gear
icon to customize these
faces exactly to your liking by changing the colors or by shifting around the subdials that give you extra details at a glance.
The
icons appear four to a screen, a
watch face that appears in lock mode and everything is just small enough to fit on the screen.
What's interesting is that there is actually quite a bit of customization included in the app, from
watch face backgrounds to the color of the battery level indicator
icon.
