There were already surfers out there on all sections with
wave height ranging from chest to pretty well double over head high on Middle Reef.
Not exact matches
As it shows
wave height was in the head to almost triple head high
range with clean off shore wind.
Basically we have beach breaks and sandbars and the
height of the
waves vary in a
range between 3 - 12 feet depending on the swells.
Monday: New long period SSW swell slowly filling in and
waves ranged shoulder to head
height.
At the time
wave height was still only in the waist to chest high
range, but with the tide still running in there was a big chance of some head to over head high
waves yet to come.
Today the 29th and my 7.00 AM surf check on the Outer reefs was showing
wave height to have backed off into the 2 - 4ft
range from Kuta Reef to Airport Left.
Only a handful of surfers were in the water with
wave height hitting the track in the 2 - 3ft +
range.
This morning the 21st and our 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing
wave height to be breaking in the 2 - 2ft +
range between Kuta reef and Airport left.
So we took a gamble and headed up the coast to Canggu arriving at 9.30 AM to find
wave height in the 2 - 3ft +
range with the wind light on shore out of the ESE.
At first it looked like
wave height was only in the 2 - 2ft +
range but soon enough there were some solid over head head
waves pouring through.
Today the 8th and our 6.45 Am surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing
wave height in the 2 - 2ft +
range, between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
With our 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban showing
wave height in the 1 - 2ft
range between Kuta Reef and Airport left.
Arriving at Keramas around 7.30 AM to find
wave height hitting the main break in the 2 - 3ft
range with the off bigger freak sets.
Arriving at 9.45 Am to find
wave height hitting the Main Peak and Racetrack sections in the 2 - 4ft +
range with around 40 surfers spread through it.
Waves rarely drop below head
height, and the jagged shoreline of the west coast offers a variety of breaks that
range in difficulty.

Ok this mornings 7.00 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs showing
wave height in the 1 - 2ft +
range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
arriving around 9.00 am just as the tide was starting to run back in to find
wave height breaking on the Racetrack section in the 2 - 3ft +
range.
Arriving just before dawn to find 2 surfers in the water but
wave height only in the waist to head high
range.
Our Keramas surf report came through at 9.00 am calling in
wave height on the main break to be in the 2 - 3 foot
range with 5 surfers riding the lower end of the tide.
Today's G - Land surf report thanks to JoYo's G - Land Surf Camp was calling
wave height in the 6 - 8ft
range with a clean off shore wind and sunny conditions.
So we did, arriving at 8.15 AM to find
wave height still in the 2 - 3ft
range with the off sly 4 footer hitting the river mouth.
Arriving around 7.45 AM to find 13 surfers in the water and
wave height in the 2 - 4ft
range.
Further reasoning for using body
height to measure
wave height is that most new or developing surfers will typically only surf
waves that are head
height or under and will find describing
waves within this
range more practical to their personal surfing.

wave height to be only breaking in the 1 - 2ft
range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
This morning's 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was still only showing
wave height in the 2 - 3ft +
range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left / Right.
Arriving at 8.30 AM to find
wave height in the 2 - 3ft
range but with the wind still cross shore out of the NE.

Arriving at our first destination Cupang Pt to find
wave height in the 2 - 4ft
range with the wind still 90 % off shore and only 10 surfers in the water.
Our first glimpse of the line up was showing 16 surfers in the water with
wave height in the 2 - 4ft
range and conditions still clean and glassy (as it shows in the second half of today's photo gallery).
Today the 4th and our 6.45 Am surf check on the Outer Reefs was as expected showing
wave height to be still in the 2 - 3ft
range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Arriving at Keramas around 8.15 AM to find
wave height also in the 2 - 4ft
range with surfing conditions clean and tidy.
We arrived at Krupuk Pt around 8.30 AM to find
wave height breaking in the 2 - 3ft
range with clean and glassy surfing conditions.
Well yesterday the 4th and after our 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs confirmed that
wave height was down into the waist to head high
range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Arriving at 6.30 AM to find
wave height still only in the 1 - 2ft +
range with 16 surfers already sitting and waiting for
waves.
Hendra from down at Uluwatu also called through a surf report calling
wave height in the head to double head high plus
range, clean off shore wind with around 40 surfers in the water.
Ketut has phoned through from over on the East Coast calling in
wave height in the 3 - 5ft +
range with a light off shore wind at the time.
When we arrived on the scene yesterday we were stoked to find
wave height hitting all 3 section at this location in the solid 3 - 5ft
range (head to double head high).
This mornings 6.30 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs once again was showing
wave height coming through in the chest to well over head high
range between Kuta Reef and Airports.
Yesterday the 17th and our 6.45 AM surfing check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing
wave height in the 1 - 3ft
range between Kuta Reef and Airports.
Today's news from G - Land (6.30 AM) thanks to «Tin» and the G - Land Surf Camp goes like this «Good morning everyone,
wave height has dropped off a little but still some very solid ones in the 6 - 8ft
range.
AS it shows in the photos
wave height was still in the 2 - 3ft
range with odd bigger freak set.
