the Well Living Lab and professor of medicine for Mayo Clinic Complementary and Integrative Medicine Program.
Mayo Clinic recently opened
the Well Living Lab, a new research facility dedicated to studying these environments and creating healthier indoor spaces in which to live, work and play.
The company will also become a founding member of
the Well Living Lab ™, a collaboration between Delos and Mayo Clinic, and the world's first human - centered research lab dedicated to understanding the interaction between health and well - being and indoor environments.
A collaboration between Delos and Mayo Clinic,
the Well Living Lab will begin launching studies in April 2016 and is located adjacent to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
On May 4, the Wellness for Cancer Initiative hosted a roundtable & interactive forum at the Mayo Clinic
Well Living Lab.
Members make contributions ranging from $ 75,000 to $ 300,000, and receive several benefits in return, including early access to research findings, attendance at an annual
Well Living Lab summit and discounts on sponsored research.
These people are the first guinea pigs in
the Well Living Lab, an immersive, high - tech facility where Big Brother meets big data.
«There are some building - science labs out there who try to bring in as many components as possible, but we never thought they got to the point where they really could address all the issues that might come up in a building design standard,» says Dana Pillai, president of Delos's research division and executive director of
