Wenger as club Manager for life.

Wenger and believe that the long serving Frenchman is still the best man to be the

Does not listen to fans Every good
club Manager is suppose to serve
as the bridge between fans and the
club board, but
Wenger has turned deaf ears to the yearnings of fans.

manager, I bet they would because it is the
CLUB that is showing a lack of ambition, not
Wenger.

Wenger has «destroyed» him he'll likely laugh in your face
as with the amount of injuries he has had over the years not many
managers would have stuck by him and no other big
club would have kept him around.
Most of the season,
as well
as a number of occasions in previous years, a growing number of fans have moved to protest against Arsene
Wenger remaining in charge of the
club, and with the
manager's contract up this summer, the movement has snowballed.
Contrary to popular opinion, we can not resolve the situation by just changing the
manager,
as we do not have the infrastructure and footballing knowledge, such
as a director of football, that other
clubs have,
as Mr
Wenger covers all those positions.
To fire Arsene
Wenger I don't believe is the right solution (unless with him you fire a large portion of the team) but perhaps from now till the end of the season the
club could look around for a suitable replacement
as manager.
whether for the right or wrong reasons, our leader chose to stay on when things took a turn of sorts... a new owner arrived on the scene, plans for a new stadium emerged and
Wenger became the bearer of bad news... he sold us on a new story, one that required patience on our parts... financial constraints were the order of the day, so that the enormous sums spent on the new venue could be recouped... although some would question the validity of such claims, why wouldn't they believe their faithful leader... according to those within the hierarchy, the future never looked so bright,
as this new home would ensure our place among the elites for years to come...
as we all know now these claims were a well constructed fabrication and so those who feel they were duped in the process are infuriated and rightly so... the fact that this
club and it's
manager have continually misled the fans, especially following Gazidis's claims about our financial liquidity, simply rubbed more salt in an already gaping wound... this surely isn't how you treat your «family», especially when they supported you through the supposed «lean» years... it was a dirty trick played by Kroenke but the fact is was orchestrated by
Wenger himself hurt the most...
as for those in the media, many of whom are former players or longtime pundits, who observed the early years firsthand, saw this
as the perfect opportunity to vent the anger they felt towards this pretentious man once and for all... all in all, karma's a bitch
One of the most sensible comments i have read here,
Wenger is hiding from the fans and can't face the fans... Almost every
manager has a very good relationship with there fans but not at Arsenal... He will always blame the fans and not himself for poor performances,
as for me i have accepted my fate, 2 more years of Agony and unhappiness watching my beloved
club but i know Kroenke,
Wenger, Gazidis will not be at arsenal forever because like it or not someone will come and save the
club from there hands in the NEAREST future and guess what?
If Arsene
Wenger is to stay on for another year or more
as the
manager of Arsenal Football
Club, a lot of fans will not be happy but there will be little we can do about it other than hope that the Frenchman will realise that he needs to have Arsenal much more competitive and fighting for a major trophy like the Premier League title or the Champions League.
I SAY
WENGER DOES NO SUCH THING and my above several posts have given ample reasons
as to why I AND TENS OF THOUSANDS OTHER FANS, (who are not fools, by the way, even though the
club and
manager treat us a such) THINK THE SAME.
Most of ye probably didn't support arsenal when
Wenger was classed
as one of the most wanted
managers in Europe and was putting it up to Utd and winning trophies every yr things are different now the moving stadium all that less whinging give it a bit of time he is starting to spend and I'm sure he will buy 1 or 2 in Jan and a few big signings nxt summer and I hope he goes out on a high man gets ridiculed by knobs like ye on a regular basis players want to play for him big star players like his style wake up a bit
as long
as he is in charge the
club is in good hands
If we do win the League it will be a huge achievement for
Wenger and the
club, one in which fans would love
Wenger to stay on
as manager — or walk out of the
club on a high.
o.t does anybody on here honestly think we might try and make a move for klopp this summer are the board that aggressive enough to make the decision also
wenger has not come out straight away to denied that klopp is coming to arsenal he just batted the question away in the press conference yesterday this makes me wonder if
wenger is going to sit down with the board and have a chat to see what is the best way forward for the
club (maybe moving upstairs to the boardroom so he doesn't have to break his contract) i am sure if certain members of the board saw this
as a prime opportunity to move the
club forward post
wenger we will see what will happen this might be the only chance to get him
as we might not be any decent
manager around when
wenger does retire we would probably end up with martinez instead realistically who do you think we would end up with in 2 yrs time options will be more limited me thinks and we wil have missed the boat better make it count this time coyg
Like it or not this is not Arsenal football
club, but really Arsene «
Wenger» football
club... This our fault
as well
as the board fault... We let it happened... We thought we could not do better... We have now the oldest
manager in world football (may be) stuck in the 80's... We can not win us trophies because he does not know how anymore, simple
as that...

Wenger has realised he can not take this
club any further, then he will step down
as Arsenal's
manager.
If you see the past 3 or 4 yrs things have gone the same way — Beginning of June,
club says we have a war chest of millions and we are linked with host of big names. In the end we end up with some good players and some panic buys.Towards the end of Transfer season, AKBs start saying we should give
Wenger a chance
as he is the most successful
manager and all sorts of praises and fans should stick with team.

Wenger would think and act like that he wouldnt work
as the
manager of one of the biggest
clubs in the world.
Having worked at a pro
club with youngsters I am aware, also I'm not It arguing with
wenger I'm arguing with someone who blindly follows him
Managers get things wrong
as he did last season my evidence of that» he will say himself he failed to achieve in the league»
Yes Sue I believe there are a couple of young lads at the

Remember if you aren't at the head of the class when it comes to the development of young talent, which means eyes on the ground everywhere, a vast array of connections with soccer associations throughout Europe and beyond and a
manager willing to properly train and play said blue chippers, (like the 90s Arsenal or
clubs like the modern day Monaco and Dortmund) you need to spend to win... anything in between is highly problematic... failure to make the necessary changes leaves you in the proverbial «no man's land» and that is currently where we reside... it's difficult to get out of this rut... just ask either of the Milan teams... next step after that is being known
as a «seller», which could be us already if and when Sanchez leaves... there are only two teams that have worn this moniker in recent times and had some decent success and that is Athletico Madrid and Dortmond, which only occurred when they both brought in new, charismatic leaders in Simmone & Klopp... the odds that
Wenger could conjure up the magic to repeat the performances of a bygone era are incredibly low, so why prolong the agony... he's not willing to create the hierarchy necessary to go the youth route and he's unwilling to put his team's potential success ahead of his job security by laying it on the line with Moustache, so it's time to place all your chips in the middle or go gently into that good night
Speaking of loyalty in professional football, many people have different opinions about it but I am not here to lecture anyone on loyalty or disloyalty... I am pretty sure that many of us will agree that Arsene
Wenger is one of the most loyal
managers in the world
as he is loyal to a fault, in fact, many believe that his loyalty has caused more harm than good to the
club....
On way home from Wembley and will refer to SIR JON FOX and his hard hitting post during the week when he boldly claimed he was hoping for a humiliating loss today
as it would speed up
Wengers dismissal.Jon, my humble apologies Sir.I disagreed with you at the time (which
as you know I rarely if ever do) and I feel
as though my heartfelt apologies will never show my embarrassment for doubting your sincerity and total dedication in ridding this
club of that utter fraud of a
manager that you, I and 99.9999 % of true Arsenal fans hate even more this evening than I ever thought possible.
It is a sad state of affairs when even Peter Hill - Wood, the former Arsenal chairman who appointed Arsène
Wenger as manager all those years ago, thinks the Frenchman has outstayed his welcome and is destroying his reputation by hanging on too long at the
club.
Ya i when i read
Wenger's comment saying that improving infrastructure of the club has upped fans expectation of club, really struck a chord.like with a small stadium, enuf revenue wont be generated to compete at the top.and i will say confidently as ut stands, no manager has been willing to stay even 5 yrs just to repay a loan.as per agreement with Bank which provided the loan whixh demanded that wenger stay for 5 yrs to repay a major portion.in that sense, u can accept that club is moving in right dire

There is a new name in the frame to be the man to finally replace the long serving Arsene
Wenger as the
manager of Arsenal Football
Club, and unless you are one of the football fans who keeps an eye on events in the football world outside England and the Premier League, it may well be a name that you are not familiar.
I know that a bigger percentage of Arsenal fans than ever before would like to see the end of Arsene
Wenger's reign
as the
manager of Arsenal Football
Club as soon
as possible, but if it came down to a choice between having a new man in charge next season or winning the Europa League this year then I am sure that percentage would be much smaller.
Before Arsenal played host to Chelsea last weekend in a match that none of us want to remember for long, the interim boss of the blues Guus Hiddink suggested that Arsene
Wenger and his very long spell
as the
manager of a top flight
club like the Gunners could soon be looked on
as a piece of history, because bosses just do not seem to get anything like that sort of time anymore.
Now is the time to find a new
manager as Wenger is dropping and the
club is changing which doesn't appear to be suited to get the best out of him.
Mediocrity has always been the thing since
wenger began to feel he was untouchable at the
club... Sam Allardyce might not have been the best coach in the EPL but for he did something remarkable and honorable when he stepped down after rescuing the Eagles from relegation and that's what the potato head should have done when he found out that the fans were not united because of him... changing tactics after the deed has been done won't prove anything right but putting his arrogance and ego aside and stepping down
as manager for someone who is hungry and ambitious for silverware will be the best... change must a; ways happen cos it's inevitable.
Arsenals problem isnt
wenger, its an owner who uses the
club solely for collateral for other projects, demanding a huge cash mountain to be kept in the process,
as well
as a stale luddite control freak
manager who is allowed to stay indefinitely, unchallenged,
as he keeps silent and goes along with the ebbs and flows of the owners cash needs.
Let's be practical, if
Wenger, other
managers and the
clubs were that bothered about players getting enough recovery time, they could cut out these meaningless out of season «trophies» such
as the Emirates Cup.
Wenger should try and bring in this guy to play some role at the
club, he can even be an Assistant coach to our juniors and he learns his trait
as a
Manager or the way damn city used OUR Viera (still bitter about him been there because w made him)
To be fair, it's a worry for any player joining Arsenal at the moment given the mess the
club is in, and
Wenger hasn't shown anywhere near enough faith in Lacazette,
as the other
managers have shown with their new strikers.
That aspect of Arsenal's business model is perhaps under more scrutiny now than at any other time during Arsene
Wenger's reign
as manager of the
club.
Ok I always believe that one man decision is wrong and risky,
as we can se
Wenger brought good player and bad player to this
club as well, there is many aspects that we have to look at, but there is one think for certain if there is a committee of highly rated retired player plus
manager to decide what they need and who they need then there should be one that is able to negotiated.
Arsenal didn't do badly on cash during the last 2 windows so we have a bank balance... I am of the opinion that Gazidis has been doing this in anticipation of a new
manager, he didn't want
Wenger to get his new deal and since then Arsenal (
as a
club) have been buying from money generated from sales, largely.
As much as I appreciate what Wenger has done for the club, I would also appreciate it if he wasn't in charge next season, it's nothing personal I just feel that after the period of transition we have flat - lined and the truth is whether it be tactics, injuries, personal recruitment that have been contributing factors to us not being able to win the Premier league title... it's all on him and until we change manager this stupid cycle will persist... nice to see you crawl out of your hole just in time to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team long before
Wenger arrived on the scene and will continue to do so long after he's gone... in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which at that point was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful
manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or world - class players into the fold without being fearful of how said players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all changed about 10 years ago and culminated in the removal of all our greatest players, both young and old, without any real replacements coming in... from Henry to RVP to Fabergas and Nasri, it was easy to see that this
club was no longer interested in competing at the highest levels... instead of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium,
Wenger chose to side with management and in doing so became the «front man» for this corporation pretending to be a world - class soccer
club... without the «front man» this organization would have been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence was imperative if the facade was to continue... it's for this reason and more that I despise what this once great man and Kroenke has done to my beloved
club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but
as long
as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow
But
as we know,
Wenger wields more power at Arsenal, than any other
manager in the world at their respective
clubs.
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our
manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on
club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies...
as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this
club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like
Wenger's)
there is only one thing that worries me is the lack of top class potential
managers coming through to replace
wenger in a few years, pep might be ok (but he does cause upset at most of the
clubs he manages) klopp on the other hand is too soon to take over would work but
wenger wont go
as he is just on the up again.
These additions to the backroom will likely see Arsene
Wenger's legacy live on beyond his time
as manager, although there will no doubt be a huge cloud of uncertainty surrounding the
club once he does finally step down.
Ever since taking over
as manager of Arsenal 18 years ago, Arsene
Wenger has made the development of young players at the
club one of his main priorities.
You can get to any length to denigrate the
club and
manager but it will not take away the fact that alexis was bought by
wenger and is played by
wenger as part of the 11 member starting line up, while Alexis has been exceptional the team is where it is collectively not by reasonin of one player, players can never turn from being brillient to rubbish in a space of one season, and that you need to start using your brain not that borrowed from the media.
As Arsenal prepare for a visit to title - rivals Chelsea on Saturday,
manager Arsene
Wenger is also preparing for a historic landmark — his 1,000 th game in charge of the
club.
I like to think of myself
as a fairly rational individual, which is why what has and is going on at Arsenal confounds me... little wonder people have gone so far
as to suggest that
Wenger is actually sabotaging the
club... one only needs to look at our starting 11 to stoke the flames of conspiracy... just think of the perceived importance of this game, considering the loss to Stoke, the historically significance of the two teams involved, the controversy that swirled around our two meetings last season, the proximity to the closing of the window and the general disdain being directed towards the
manager once again... how is it even possible that you wouldn't come to Anfield with all guns blazing... not a single shot on target, with the back - up keeper in no less... where were the new signings?
