Wenger was too busy pleasing
players that either suck (Bellerin) or had already decided to leave the club (Oxlade) we

My advice to
wenger, he should simply resign at the end of the season, either quietly or openly, because I don't see us competing in anything next season having him and Stan still working together, with the very low mentality in the club, listen to
wenger's press conferences, he seems to have one excuse after each poor game, yet he can't correct it there on the
field of play before the game ends, I have never heard the
players saying he shouted at them or he was angry with their first half performance, he doesn't have a winning mentality.
I just want Mr
Wenger to
field hungry and committed
players who can get the job done period.
he must be reasonable.i think
Wenger wants him to prove himself on the
field which Walcott is resisting bcz he knows man city - looking to add English
players and pay massive salaries and Liverpool - long time admirer of Walcott are watching...
realistically guys we all know we aren't signing world class
players within a week, we just can't compete with such a board, i may point a fingers at

fielding 2 left back's but this is poor window is really down to Kroenke and co..

player as long as you keep the shape and you are in the position to get the ball back.
The English
players that
Wenger had brought through the Arsenal system all seem to have ongoing injury problems, and although Wilshere and Walcott have been given some cameo roles in the last couple of games, the whole starting XI that have taken the
field for the last six games have ALL been foreigners (except for the Welshman Aaron Ramsey I guess).
That will be great if he can manage to do that but what's more important if arsenal can snatch 3 point from Liverpool at an
field today...... arsenal to sell ox to Chelsea this week too bad, all this injury prone
players are becoming traitors all the time after
Wenger has back them during difficult time of their playing career...
«Or maybe it is more basic than that —
Wenger just trying to shoe - horn who he considers the best X1 on to the
field by making compromises in
player's natural positions.».
nice to see you crawl out of your hole just in time to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team long before
Wenger arrived on the scene and will continue to do so long after he's gone... in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which at that point was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product on the
field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or world - class
players into the fold without being fearful of how said
players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all changed about 10 years ago and culminated in the removal of all our greatest
players, both young and old, without any real replacements coming in... from Henry to RVP to Fabergas and Nasri, it was easy to see that this club was no longer interested in competing at the highest levels... instead of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium,
Wenger chose to side with management and in doing so became the «front man» for this corporation pretending to be a world - class soccer club... without the «front man» this organization would have been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence was imperative if the facade was to continue... it's for this reason and more that I despise what this once great man and Kroenke has done to my beloved club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but as long as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow
Not only was
Wenger scared to
field a team that could win (hence Ramsey), the
players also looked paralysed and well below their best.
Mertz should never have been our captain in the first place... who has ever heard of a team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership positions from the get - go... indicative of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse for the better part of 7 years under the Kroenke &
Wenger... what is wrong with the
players chosen and / or the management style of
Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey from year one... this is what happens when you don't get world - class
players because many times they want to have a voice on and off the pitch and this can't happen when you play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling wage structure where everyone is rewarded for simply wearing the shirt and participating in the process... not enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some
players regardless of their glaring lack of production... remember that Ramsey has played in positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (out wide) and has forced other
players off the
field or into equally unfamiliar positions with little or no justification (let's remember when you read articles about how Ramsey's goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a goal until the final week last season)... this of course is just one example of many... before I hear another word from Mertz I want this club to address the fact that no former
player of any real consequence has any important role in the management structure of this club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!
When
Wenger heard the bad news re his Mid
field players injured he did the best thing in bringing Coquelin back without him we would be in Sh»»» street he took his chance and in the 4 games he has shown what a talent we have.

players today.
Let's face it goalkeepers tend to march to the beat of a different drum and Szczesny certainly fell into that category, but most of his antics were relatively harmless and simply reflected a certain level of immaturity that isn't uncommon for someone thrust into the limelight at such a young age... lord knows we've seen that happen with numerous
players throughout the years and very few were ever banished for such behaviour... the only on -
field action that drove me crazy was his inability to take a deep breath and not try to rush the play with an ill - timed throw at certain points in the game when common sense suggested holding the ball and slowing things down... the fact that he continued to do this probably had a lot to do with the glaring lack of coaching time spent with the goalkeepers... ultimately he made the fateful decision to take his frustrations out into the public sphere and paid dearly for it... in the end, his services were wanted by several of the best Italian squads, which is significant considering the historical importance placed on the defensive side of the ball in Serie A... all I know is that if someone asked me to pick the most athletically gifted goalkeeper we have had in our squad since the arrival of
Wenger, without hesitation, he would be my pick and for that reason his departure is more than a little disappointing... what else is new though
It does not help that Arsenal face a full blooded north London derby a few days after the trip to Bayern Munich either and
Wenger will surely want to

Personally I would say there is some truth to the rumor but I would warn on caution to believing we are getting him, he could be one of many
players that
Wenger is looking at, being part of Arsenal is more than just on the
field attributes, it is the mentality of the
player as well.
Its simple really,
Wenger is a very poor manager and has been poor very almost 10 years now, he makes insanely stupid decisions and moves than not even a non league manager would make e.g Kim Kallstrom, 40mil + 1 for Suarez, not siging an out
field player last season, playing Ozil on the left wing for some time, Flamini siging, being snubbed by Vardy etc, the list goes on and on and on, Chelsea go in for Kante in within 4 days deal is done, But noooo
Wenger goes in for crack head Vardy and gets snubbed, I'm sorry but if we had to choose over 2 new world class sigings or a new coach I'd opt for the new coach,
Wenger is a poor poor manager, he ia lower than the level of our club, anyway thanks in advance for the thumbs down.....
Arsene
Wenger made many changes to the starting line - up, but there were many more experienced
players on the

players and giving instructions, while Arsenal fans often complain that

field.
you would think that it's
wenger playing on the
field every game... cuz somehow the fact that our squad (which has huge potential) is underperforming is all
wenger's fault... the
players need to sack up and take some responsibility on themselves instead of hiding behind
wenger all the time
