that
is the only
way wenger will progress in the c / l and league title if not we do need a manager who can do all of those
things and a manager that will
keep the team motivated from the sidelines, not that i
am saying that he should definitely come in but just watch how jurgen klopp interacts with his players all the time and how animated he
is from the sideline he motivates his players, (this
is what we need sometimes
being excellent technically
is enough alone) and he
is changing games plans form the dugout if something
ai nt working unfortunately football
is a young managers game now.
ozil has a huge tendency to go missing when
things are looking rough where as Sanchez makes his presence felt continually so if pushed Id have to say
keep Sanchez... however I feel that with PSG lurking in the background and
Wengers notoriously frugal nature, it'll
be the other
way around
its not what these guys
are used to they have played with football greats like ronaldo and messi and you ask them to perform with players like ox and welback we should change the
way we think just sell these midocre players that we
keep on feeding sell them out and one more
thing i swear if even if i had a chance to play this match on fifa i would never dare to play players out of position for fuck sake we already lost against stoke due to out of position defenders what
is wrong with
wenger
The only
thing i can say
is wenger is stalling, waiting for clubs such as madrid, to break off some crumbs our
way and this will not happen until the last week of the window, which i think he did last season and failed badly, the names mention in the media
is just to
keep us as fans wishing that something will happen soon.
Anything recommending a better place to
be?Don't think so.We will
be lucky to catch an Europa league spot, but the
way things are going, I have doubts about that too.I
thing this
is the best
thing happening to Arsenal in the last 12 years, it may
be the only
way to pull us out of misery and embarrasment. For sure the only
way to see
Wenger gone.Let's
keep up the «good work», boys, and see Arsenal even lower on the table.Ready to take 2 - 3 years of reconstruction instead of
being humiliated every year.
some peoples blind hatred for
wenger no longer make sense like adm says no matter the article they
keep on writing the same
things over & over and top of that adding personal insults towards our manager which very sad to see (it usually
is the same people but i won, t mane anyone) anyway sadly this site has become very depressing for some us and stop us from enjoying this site the
way we used to, thanks
Fan support
is vital to any team either in winning or losing unfortunately arsenal fans
are loggerheads to the point of
being a civil war and you know who to blame the spineless board and the manager, I
'm not advocating
being nasty to
wenger but should have insisted on certain parameters
being met, it
's OK he did well on
keeping the club on good financial level when we moved to the Emirates and then should have moved him upstairs 2 - 3 years ago and that would have cemented his legacy but now
things are just stagnant and desperately trying to find a
way out
Same can
be said the other
way round wen all the aob just sit and slate everything about our club and we ask them what
's the answer to make
things better they haven't got an answer and just split out rubbish like lets get rid of everyone like I've said ive seen my club in much worse position then this in fact 20 years ago this season we finished 10th in the league I know your comment
is directed at me so wen you can tell me you seen arsenal finish in 10th below the spuds then I might start thinking that our club
is in the sh # t like most of you spoilt brats think and then you can come to me and start calling me deluded for
keeping my faith in
wenger for everything he
's done for our club COYG in
wenger I trust
As a result, one
thing that
Wenger will have on his mind
is whether the players have the right mentality to
keep up these winning
ways throughout the course of the season.
Was not analyzing the Manchester ss and don't really care much there but from a footballing point of view and from the words of MR wenger I understand the logic I do nt read what the media thinks neither My comment above addresses the issues we face in comparison to the two previous seasons adding in our re enforcements The 22 million question «Are the Arsenal capable of achieving 85 point come next May???» I believed we were strong last year and said it here that the team was strong and together and used the very words that MR wenger used cohesion but as the season unfolded the cracks showed up at the very beginning when we lost to west ham and it got worse as we lost pole position and every thing around us came tumbling down by February last season here comes another important question did they know and understand what happened do they know what to do this term to avoid the very same faith well we wait and see Irregardless of what happens I will support Arsenal and will keep analyzing every match my way until May so Good luck Arsenal with your endeavors and hope you do well against Liverpool keep the fight on keep the heads up and give them a good beat

Time for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands,
is in no better position to compete next season than they
were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have
been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he
's the only one we have actively tried to get rid of for years because he and his father
were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to
keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there
are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough
was an anomaly or a prediction of
things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings
are indicative of what
's wrong with this club and it
's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question feel good about the
way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we need to
be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during
Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to
be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't
keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he
was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of
Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil
were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract
is criminal for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul... for me it
's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value
is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would
be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who
is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will
be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of
Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam
being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why
Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry
's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP,
was that he knew that they would demand players of a similar ilk to
be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model
was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he
was being offered up for half the price he eventually went to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who
were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including
Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great
things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit
Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and
were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who
were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it
was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really
was...
If anyone
is silly enough to take anything that
Wenger says at face value then you have
been in a coma for the better part of 10 years or simply a season ticket holder that gladly renews each year in May when the talking heads from corporate Arsenal start their usual blather about the transfer market and the inevitable success that lies ahead... stop talking
Wenger and start doing the very
things you and the rest of the suits
keep spewing each and every year... just imagine how amazing this squad would
be if we even did half the
things that Gazidis claimed we would or if
Wenger found a
way to sign even a third of the players he said he could... that
's exactly what Arsenal has become a «would have» «could have» club
There
were many matches where it looked like he
was the only one trying to make something happen and those around him went to sleep. He wants everyone to play with his strong mentality but little does he know that Arsenal
is mentally weak team.Do you think Alexis can repeat this sulking in other top clubs? It's only Arsenal that opens themselves uo for such
things in they
way we behave and play.That
being said I don't see the point in
keeping a player who doesn't want to play for you but a rival. It's just sick.If I
was Wenger I would've sold him but at
am not.But mark my words we will
be vindicated by his performances for another club just like the rest who left.
I think it has reached a point where enough
is enough.the only
way to save our club
is if all fans
are singing one
thing and
are together.there
is no
way we will anything while some guys sing only one arsene
wenger and others
wenger out.we need to open our eyes and sing one song altogether only then can we propel change that
is essential for our beloved club.if we
keep going on this road then some fans will cme and regret when our club
is officially a mid table team by then it would hve
been too late for change.i told guys and will
keep saying which club in there right mind would sell a key player of there squad with just days to go before window
is shut.its clear we weren't intrested to invest into the market and yet again the club
is showing us how ambitionless they
are.sad but true our season has ended before it has even kicked off!!.
It
's the fans that
keep sacrificing because this team can't get their head out of their own ass... please give me some examples when a top club ever let their best player leave for free at the end of a season...
Wenger needs to go to PSG and get some money and talent for Sanchez so that we can end this nonsense once and for all... then he needs to publicly apologize for the
way in which they handled the whole situation... if they allow Sanchez to go for free there
is no
way this club, under the tutelage of Kroenke and
Wenger, will ever layout the necessary coin to replace such a talented player, especially considering that
Wenger will
be a lame - duck manager once again in the final year of his contract and we know how well that went last year... open your eyes people,
Wenger has spoken publicly about how he hopes that the next manager can take this club to the next level... WHAT?!?... he then went on to speak about leaving them in the perfect position to
be successful, which
is one of the reasons why several pundits felt
Wenger would leave after last season based on the financials and the fact that so many players had only one year left on their respective contracts... who says this shit??? If you believe you
're leaving
things in the best possible shape for your potential successor to achieve greatness it raises a couple of serious questions: Why can't you take
things to the next level if everything
is as great as you say?
The second
way is he puts pressure on
Wenger to buy players because now 4th place
is not a sure
thing, this
is in our favor too!!!! We have a spending
Wenger who must bring top players to
keep his job and I for one have no problem with that either.
Arsene
Wenger feels that the most important
thing about the beautiful game should
be the values that the club can share with the millions of Arsenal supporters, and he believes that he has earned the respect for the
way he has
kept that philosophy through his 22 years at Arsenal.
Wenger keeps doing
things same
way all the time and expecting different outcome each time... he
's lost it but I
'm sorry the board don't see it cos he
keeps adding to their pockets and wallets
Can some one tell me why 4 -1 mid week Ozil in middle Oxy wide then he changes it a game that had Welbeck running at the goal keeper scores hatrick and then he plays Ozil on the right never touched the ball for 20 minutes and not one shot or attempt at goal The man
Wenger has lost it surely he can't
keep changing
things and just play the
way he wants It wouldn't mater who he buys he will still play that person out off position it
's like he thinks he knows best about a player like Ozil who
is a play maker not a tackler has not played that
way ever
is it just me or
am I barking up the wrong tree CB
The team's long derby with Tottenham Hotspur and the unique
way Arsene
Wenger leads the squad
are among the many
things that
keep fans glued for more.
