It's very obvious Arsenal players have no desire to fight on the field any more because of
Wenger lack of desire to win trophy.

Arsenal have
lacked a lot
of desire and mental strength under Arsene
Wenger's last decade because although there is an obvious wish to be successful, I don't think a lot
of the squad knows what it takes and feels like to be winners.
Maybe my definition
of patience is different, but for the first five years I actually believed
Wenger too that bad luck and
lack of money were the problem, but bad tactics,
lack of transfers when funds are available, and the teams
lack of desire on the pitch is enough.
There is a
lack of effort, motivation and dare I even say it, but for some players, perhaps a
lack of desire to play under
Wenger.
We need more quality in the striker position and I think
Wenger has painted himself into a corner by saying that any forward purchased will not replace but play with Giroud, where is the
desire to do better or simply show up when there's a
lack of direct competition.
But the vast majority
of us know this is the very opposite
of what
Wenger does and that he has more than amply proved his long term inability and even
lack of desire to do exactly what you state.
I have always respected Pep although I don't think he is a God but if
Wenger stays I would like Pep to succeed at City and he has convinced me
of his burning
desire to push his team forward and
of his
lack of fear to pursue the world's best players for his clubs.
Currently we
lack desire, we are too set in a subdue state
of being which I am afraid reflects
Wenger.
Wenger however couldn't assemble a plethora
of competent players but with ridiculous signings like Chamakh, Squillaci, Gervinho, Santos, Park Ju Young, Sylvester etc whereas the talented ones like Nasri, Arshavin

Wenger being nice to players may keep them playing consistently but at the same time it also keeps them from wanting to play better.

of many
desires a true fan has with his club.What
