easy with some of our key players during training as an alternative to not being able to rotate them, even though this is a good way of resting players by not burning them out, the downside is that their fitness levels will
drop and muscle injuries will more than likely occur during games.
We can give credit to
Wenger for buying him in the first place, developing him for 7 years, for not giving up when it would have been
easy to do so, not selling him, for repeatedly putting him out on loan to try and improve / motivate him, for taking the decision to recall him, to
dropping Flamini and then sticking with him on the back of his performances.
If I thought we'd see
wenger drop Per and flamini and buy 1 or 2 cbs in the window along with a top class dm player like Kondogbia I'd rest
easy and have some hope.
