Having read many books with many errors it them, I was so very careful
when I edited my book and I'm pleased with the way it turned out.
It's the kind of work editors used to do on the manuscripts they acquired: what Maxwell Perkins did
when he edited a book by Hemingway or Fitzgerald.
When you edit your book, you get too close to the work to have any rational perspective.
For me, this endeavor started about three weeks ago
when I edited a book called Dog Blessed.

When I was writing More Than Serving Tea I confided in a few friends who helped my husband juggle the preschool and elementary school schedules so that I could get away to write,
