I would also choose Riesling as the perfect pairing for these Clams in
White Wine Sauce too.

I sauteed some kale with garlic &
white wine & then added it with the
sauce so we had some greens in there
too..
It was
too thick and the plain
white wine / flour
sauce was bland.
Still
too salty, so I added a glug or two of
white wine and allowed it to reduce to a thickened
sauce.
