It messed up Christmas, I was supposed to get him an android retro half ass chinese made console bullshit thing for all games, wii party u, mario 3d world AND DK, got every last one except DK, got him Mario and Sonic at the Sochi olympics instead, which turned out to be good, but not exactly your traditional Nintendo game, it really shouldn't take so long for a DK platformer, I mean geez, Retro might as well be developing on retro development kits at this rate

AC has always been overrated — great graphics, probably a decent story (i guess — i care not about story) and that's about it... to expect wii players, bred on solid gameplay to fall for the marketing ploy that is AC is to not understand the nintendo base... I would be a bit more upset about wonderful 101 sales, but that also lends itself to nintendo's base only purchasing 1st party character games — if 101 featured nin's characters the sales would have been through the roof... thus zelda outfits in bayo... my 2 cents!

the gamecube games that i wan na have was Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Party 4 or 7, and Super Smash Bros Meelee for the wii u eshop (Nintendo eShop).

Power is not important, really, third parties would still skip wii u even if it was 7 times more powerful, because they would argue that Nintendo fans do nt buy their games.

as for the WiiU, tropical freeze was not as good a DKCR feeling like the first game's cutting room floor, Bayonetta 2 had more simplified mechanics than B1 (something like baten kaitos origins) MK8 and Smash were just as good as their predecessors if not better yes (X I haven't played as I am looking for a modded wiiu to play the undub since my ears bleed with the English only dub) but being a wii fan I can say Nintendo made a lot more quality first party games on the Wii and even GC and N64 than their WiiU lineup.

I rarely had to fight with the controls on first party NES, SNES, N64 or Gamecube games but I find I have to do it with pretty much EVERY SINGLE WII GAME NINTENDO MAKES.

Party / Drinking games like Boom Blox, Mario cart wii, and Ravin Rabbids or even Super mario wii make it tons of fun with friends.

Nintendo might not have to include «demo - play» programming into all their games (ie; you'll never see this in WiiSports 3: Xteme) and surely 3rd parties won't bother putting effort into making a quality wii game, right?

You guys are smoking something really good if you think Xbox 1 or ps4 is going to sell more then wii u this holiday lol... mostly every big 3rd party game is coming out on current gen or wii u this holiday... ac4, batman, rayman, splinter cell, watch dogs, call of duty, etc so most people won't even be upgradeing like that yet when mostly all the same games will be out across all consoles... Nintendo got all of them games then there games zelda, pikmin, wonderfull 101, Mario, etc and there ain't no game on ps4 or x1 that's going to sell more then Mario!!!!!! That's a fact... and to top it off we know the wii u is going to get a official price cut right before x1 and ps4 launch... and you guys still think they going to sell more lol... now the next holiday of 2014 that's the real question will nintendo still have some 3rd paty games and there games to hold off the next halo or god of war etc????

it's cool to like the game system you like but to say wii u won't sell this Christmas is not smart plus even if they don't do all that well this holiday do you think when mario kart which I must say sold 34 million that's right 34 million on wii (sold more than all halos combined and gods of wars) when that comes out its gonna move units as well as smash bros... nintendo has an ace always because they have high selling first party characters that will always sell units if needed..

however, other than 1st party games the wii u still has no good games, and the ps4's graphics are still light years ahead.

I know the 3rd party argument is valid, but with the incredible amount of amassed fortune coupled with the dominating success of the 3ds, I have no reason to believe Nintendo is in dire need of 3rd party support for the wii U. Minus a few companies (Bethesda) I would go as far as to say that its not worth even having 3rd party games around anymore.
