Tucking two closed upper cabinets on either side of the covered range hood provided a nice balance to the corner windows and additional storage for those necessary but usually unattractive pantry necessities.

Nearly wall - to - wall windows on one side of this kitchen provide lots of natural light but posed a challenge for cabinet space.

We moved the table to the bay window area to show off the built in bookshelf and to provide a separate seating area on the other side of the room.

A pretty window seat has been created in the bay window, while glazed cabinets have been fitted into the alcoves on either side of the fireplace to provide elegant storage.
