I would also
like to see a nice stock of meals in the freezer for the lazy summer days ahead so I can spend less time in the
kitchen (except for all the canning I am planning and hoping for) and more time hanging out
with the kiddos.
I have a big problem
with inspiration in the
kitchen —
like the proverbial woman who stands in her closet saying «I have nothing to wear,» I can stand in a
kitchen chock full of groceries and have no idea what to make
with them.
Nothing
like a cool crisp day

The holidays are a wonderful time of year for catching up
with the ones we love; however, preparing large family and friend gatherings often keeps us in the

I actually made these for Canadian Thanksgiving back in October (along
with this pumpkin roulade) because I wanted something

with my busted elbows (which have both now healed and I'm back to full force in the
kitchen — now there's something to be thankful for!).
So when I was brainstorming over other ice creams to make
with my new
kitchen contraption, turning that same treat into an ice cream seemed
like the next best thing.
A fully equipped
kitchen comes
with a microwave and basic ingredients
like salt and pepper are provided.
I'm 65 years old and felt
like getting in the
kitchen with you and creating and dancing!
I don't feel
like spending hours standing in the
kitchen with batter up to my elbows.
Plus the queso blanco cheese

What at first seems
like a blessing becomes a curse in mid-summer as you struggle to keep up

like it so much that my teenager has voluntarily learned to make it herself and her sisters stand on stools by the

So this year, when the guys at PEEPs & Company asked if I'd

kitchen, I was more than excited.
