Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
Wolfenstein — often credited as the game that launched the genre —
looks positively rudimentary now, since it limited players to grid - like levels that had only one plane of action.
Wolfenstein II was
looked upon as the underdog in the shooter stakes this holiday period.
Games like Forza Motorsport 7, Gears of War 4, and
Wolfenstein II
look stunning and even older catalogue titles like Halo 5 and Quantum Break show significant improvements.
With this year already delivering a broad catalogue of games for everyone, Nintendo Switch owners can
look forward to an increasingly expansive line - up in the coming year, with the launch of Nintendo - published games like Kirby Star Allies, Bayonetta 2, Dragon Quest Builders and a new game in the Yoshi franchise, in addition to big third - party games like
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus from Bethesda, Mega Man 11 from Capcom, PROJECT OCTOPATH TRAVELER (working title) from Square Enix, Shovel Knight: King of Cards from Yacht Club Games and Morphies Law from Cosmoscope.

looks like developer Panic Button (who also ported Doom) have done a relatively impressive job.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is
looking to hit the 360, PS3, PC, and next generation future boxes by year's end.
The original
Wolfenstein 3D is the granddaddy of all first - person shooters, and The New Order is
looking to breathe new life into the franchise, as it is a reimagining of the classic tale of soldier versus Nazis (this time they will be alternate reality 1960's Nazis!).
This trend
looks set to continue with
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
First off nobody has seen anything of
Wolfenstein 2 on Switch and from what was shown of Doom with direct comparisons to the PS4 version the game still
looks very close with only differences in texture resolution and depth of field.
Just
look at
Wolfenstein II and Dragon Quest XI as perfect examples.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has been no exception to what an excellent marketing campaign
looks like.
It's a super powerful machine and
Wolfenstein II runs really, really well — it
looks fantastic on the Xbox One X.
Wolfenstein: The New Order took place in an alternative timeline were the Nazis won the war, while
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus tells the story of the Nazi occupation's ever intensifying grip on countries that it rules since winning the war with Nazi symbols and propaganda everywhere a civilian
looks.
Whether you are a veteran of the
Wolfenstein series like me, dating back to its origins to a point of even owning
Wolfenstein 3D on 3DO or someone who is
looking to explore the
Wolfenstein series; I would absolutely recommend
Wolfenstein II.
I
look forward to the day when
Wolfenstein 3 comes out.
Skyrim will be releasing on November 17th, but Switch owners can also
look forward to releases of DOOM and
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus in this holiday and 2018 respectively.
However, we still have the critically praised
Wolfenstein II to
look forward to next year.
Wolfenstein, Super Lucky Tale, Cuphead, Shadow of War, AC Origins, Halo 5 which
looks excellent in 4k... How many games does one complete in a month?
Destiny is all hype the game
looks bland every time i see it.Killzone is better, Borderlands is better,
wolfenstein better but no 500mill behind them.
This being said, shooting Nazis still
looks like it's pretty fun and it appears that the newest title in the
Wolfenstein series will at least be full of plenty of opportunities to blow things up good.
Also had a quick blast on AC Origins and
Wolfenstein and both
look incredible in 4K.
In 2009, they rebooted the
Wolfenstein franchise with a fresh
look and feel.
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
looks very good and uses the solid engine from The New Order to bring detailed environments, great character models, as well as fluid animations.
A new
Wolfenstein game sounded like a bad idea but after getting to see it, The New Order
looks pretty interesting.

look at the IPs that they control, The Evil Within,
Wolfenstein, Doom, Fallout, The Elder Scrolls and more.

looking forward to shooting Nazi's with high - tech weaponry, right?

Not only does it
look absolutely beautiful and the voice acting is on par with any
Wolfenstein game and its light - hearted and sometimes dark humour but the way the story unfolds as you progress through the game just put this game straight onto my list of best games of 2014.
The series was
looking like it would have a long and beautiful run, that was until I played the 2009 release
Wolfenstein.

looks like the kind of blood soaked first - person shooter that we've wanted since the release of the very first
Wolfenstein game.
It should come as no surprise that Forza 7 is one of the games being touted as «Better on Xbox One X.» Just like with Halo, Gears of War and Bethesda titles like
Wolfenstein II and The Evil Within 2, this latest entry in the Forza series is going to
look extremely sharp in 4K on Microsoft's latest console.
Graphically this title
looks fantastic and we are curious if it will support 4K on the PlayStation Pro and Xbox One X.
