If
the XBL service does nt become more attractive to users outside the US, a lot of international gamers wont buy into the next xbox... Thats what i feel will happen, according to the feedback i get from a lot of people around here.

so funny how people make jokes but in all seriousness from what game developers have been saying as well as the the network that
XBL is i find this to be a very good
service.
No one ever said
XBL was perfect, however it is more stable than some
services out there.
Issues that have lasted a mere 3 or so days (with issues for a few people still happening on BOTH
services) did not get resolved «days earlier» on
XBL.
not because it's funny because server down or
service interruption is never funny and it goes for both
XBL and PSN but thinking of how the Xboners holding the
XBL at a very high standard like it's the be all and end all of online
services and ALWAYS claim the superiority and downplays the PSN ALL THE TIME especially when it encounters problems... the
XBL is interrupted just as much from what I can see!
This has been a top selling title for
XBL Indie Games, despite the fact that it's one of the few titles on the
service that (until a few days ago) still cost 800 Microsoft Points.
PS3 has free online, but it did not compare to
XBL in terms of
service quality and extra features.
The one thing that has always puzzled me about
XBL, is all the advertising that is done on a
service that gamers pay an annual $ 59.99 for.
What he fails to realize is that the reasony why there are more hackers on
XBL is due to the fact that
XBL is by far the more popular
service.

Andrew: I can definitely see this happening, but I can only imagine it being a
service that only gives you a ton of extra content for a cheaper price than
XBL.
But I can definitely see a
service that goes above and beyond what Microsoft does currently, or at least something Sony considers to go above and beyond

We won't be examining the history of PC demos here (that's another article altogether), but we will take a look at how console demos were distributed prior to the advent of online
services like

I do value
XBL... at the same time though, I still don't agree with these apps being behind a paywall... and god knows I don't agree with adds on a premium pad for

XBL Gold.
-- create an infrastructure so that indie developers can get paid (there are over 1500
XBL indie games available now, and some developers have as little as one game on the
service, so that's a * lot * of cheques going out to developers every quarter)
