tomato soup with them and also put them into a summer spinach and arugula
salad.
The cucumbers,
yellow and green peppers,
tomatoes, and green onions add excellent texture and crunch to the
salad.
We «re going to use the second head of Romaine lettuce this weekend in an entree
salad with the
yellow squash (shaved), the second
tomato, the last cucumber (along with shrimp and corn and a sweet cilantro vinaigrette).
Add cherry
tomatoes, red bell pepper,
yellow bell pepper, English cucumber, red onion, parmesan cheese,
salad supreme seasoning, and Italian dressing to bowl.
Rather, they deliver savory, meaty flavors on their own power, things like roasted shiitake mushrooms that pack in crispy bacon-esque flavor in a
salad or pureeing
yellow tomatoes into a creamy bearnaise sauce.»
Summer Squash Herb
Salad (Adapted from The Raw 50) 1/2 cup sun dried
tomato — soaked for 2 hours, drained, and chopped 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon white onion (optional)-- minced 1 tablespoon fresh oregano — minced 1 tablespoon fresh basil — minced 1 tablespoon fresh dill or lemon thyme — minced 1 teaspoon salt 2 zucchini — sliced on a mandoline or any way you like 2
yellow summer squash — sliced
This fresh grilled octopus
salad with red and
yellow tomatoes, sliced fingerling potatoes and caramelized onions included two octopus tentacles that were perhaps the most tender and succulent I've ever had.
This was served alongside a Tuscan - inspired
tomato - brioche panzanella
salad bursting with large and lovely slices of fresh
yellow tomatoes and red onions tossed in a creamy salsa verde.
Barley
Tomato Salad 1 lb
tomatoes on the vine 1/4 cup olive oil, plus more for drizzling cherry
tomatoes 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar 1 tablespoon coconut sugar 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, plus more for cherry
tomatoes 3 garlic cloves — minced 2 cups
yellow or red cherry
tomatoes — cut in half freshly ground black pepper 1 cup pearled barley — soaked overnight and cooked for about 20 minutes, until soft, drained and cooled 1/2 cup heirloom forbidden black rice or other black rice — cooked according to package instructions, cooled assorted 3 - 5 heirloom
tomatoes — sliced 3 tablespoons chopped mint leaves handful basil leaves — torn about 2 tablespoons each minced dill and parsley — optional
The day before, mix together a bulgur
salad (see the recipe) with cherry
tomatoes,
yellow squash and loads of fresh herbs.
Ingredients 1 — 1 1/2 cups asparagus, chopped into 2 - inch bites 1 bell pepper, chopped (I used
yellow) 1 small zucchini, chopped 3/4 cup cherry
tomatoes, cut in half 1/4 cup plus 1 Tbsp Italian dressing (You may decide you need more
salad dressing, so keep the bottle handy) 1/2 tsp kosher salt 10 oz.
For the
salad: * about 1 cup tiny
tomatoes (I used a combination of cherry, sungold and
yellow pear
tomatoes, and sliced the bigger ones in half) * about 1 cup chopped
tomatoes, preferably heirloom (any color you like) * 1 fat kirby cucumber, chopped
These are all the ingredients you'll need to create a yummy Mexican wedge
salad: Iceburg lettuce, grape
tomatoes, black beans, corn, purple onion, a combination of colorful bell peppers (red,
yellow, orange), purple onion, pepitas (roasted pumpkin seeds), Haas avocado, Mexican cheese (Queso Fresco or Cotija), colorful tortilla strips, and either store bought or homemade creamy cilantro lime dressing.

yellow summer squash is lighter and perfect, especially served right from the oven with a green or

salad was a great mix of healthy ingredients... brussels sprouts leaves, haricot verts, radishes,
yellow peppers,
tomatoes, toasted almonds and... pickled onions.
I wanted my Quiona Avocado
Salad to be super colorful and crunchy, so I strayed a tad from the green theme and added
yellow bell peppers and
tomatoes.

tomato, diced 1/2 cup green peas or shelled edamame, steamed 1/2 cup red, orange,
yellow, or green pepper or any combination, diced 1 tsp fresh herbs of your choice, such as cilantro, parsley, basil or shiso (Japanese basil), chopped Salt and pepper to taste
Grapes aren't in season here yet, so I added strawberries and
yellow plum
tomatoes to give sweetness to the
salad.
