Yolo County SPCA does not take in wild animals.

Through the years, we have grown and expanded our programs to help better serve the animals, and people, of Yolo County.

We ask that foster homes provide a safe indoor home, lots of love, and transportation to our weekly placement events at the Davis Petco, as well as some special events in Yolo County.

Payment will be made directly to the veterinary clinic who must agree to bill the Yolo County SPCA and accept a check from the Yolo County SPCA within two weeks of treatment.

Depending on need, Yolo County SPCA transports cats a few times a month from central locations in Woodland and Davis to low cost clinics out of the area.

If Care Credit does not provide funding, or if supplemental funding is needed, the applicant may contact the Yolo County SPCA for a phone interview (530-902-6264) prior to applying for funding.

A large portion of funding to care for our fostered animals is supplied by profits made at the Yolo County SPCA Thrift Store.
