Heading into E3 2015, many were expecting big things from Nintendo's Digital Event broadcast and while many saw great new titles like Star Fox Zero and
Yoshi's Woolly World, fans were also hoping for the long - awaited return of the Metroid
franchise to either 3DS or Wii U: while Nintendo greeted fans with a pair of new Metroid titles, they weren't quite what was expected, and response to the
games have been largely negative.

Looking ahead to 2018, there are a lot of major
franchise releases worth looking into - Far Cry 5, Monster Hunter World, The Last of Us Chapter 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Spider - Man,
Yoshi, and remakes of Pathologic and System Shock - but here are our (my) ten most anticipated
games:
Mario Tennis
games feature a selection of playable characters from the Mario
franchise, including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy,
Yoshi, Birdo, Wario, Waluigi, Donkey Kong, Bowser, and several others.
For its other main announcements, Nintendo leant on a number of familiar characters and
franchises in the form of
Yoshi (working title) and Kirby (working title), as well as two Metroid
games.
Most fans refer to the
game as just «
Yoshi's Island,» because it's such a departure from the rest of the
franchise to that point, and because the «Super Mario World 2» print on the
game's box is almost invisible.
Yoshi games have taken on a their own visual style separate from the Mario
franchise.

Until they take that next step these two will ALWAYS be «not up to snuff» for Smash Bros. since they don't stand out in their
franchise's main titles, while the side
games they COULD represent are ALREADY represented several times over with Luigi, Peach,
Yoshi, Bowser, Wario, Donkey Kong, Rosalina etc..
This is the only
game in both of the Mario and
Yoshi franchises to utilize a light gun.
Among the
games that Nintendo Switch owners should look forward to in 2018 include the re-release of Bayonetta 2, new entries to their
franchises Kirby Star Allies and
Yoshi, the remastered Dark Souls, and the boots - on - the - ground Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

And while the core gameplay remains the same in each iteration, Tetris Attack serves as a testament to the appeal of a
