Bradford's
Art + Practice organization — an
exhibition and social space in Leimert Park that, in collaboration with the
youth services group RightWay, provides job training and education for teenagers coming out of foster care in south Los Angeles — is testament to an admirable ethics at the core of his activities.

The
exhibition First Time at Kiasma Museum of Modern
Art in Helsinki was a collaboration between Kiasma's
youth group Kultu and artist Heta Kuchka.
As a versatile individual, she has had the pleasure of managing an array of artistic projects for
arts organizations, from
youth art education,
art exhibitions, and interdisciplinary artist showcases, to poetry, theater, and music programs.
Finalists selected from each of five regional
exhibitions will be included in the 2014 National Fine
Art Exhibit, on view for one year at BGCA's headquarters gallery in Atlanta, and presented to touring groups including the BGCA National Conference, visiting elected officials,
youth groups, and more.
After having evoked the development of the two artists and the artworks from their
youth to their modernist creations, the
exhibition shows the correspondences between their artworks, like the influence from non-Western
art or the surrealist movement to the return of realism during the period after the war.
The expansion will feature a new glass - walled building, to be named the Rothko Pavilion, in recognition of the artist's legacy in Portland — his home as a
youth after immigrating from Latvia — and the Museum, where he took
art classes as a teenager and where he received his first solo
exhibition.

exhibition at the René Block gallery in Berlin, which was soon followed by the award of the German
youth art prize.

Roman Road is always a sure bet when you are in search of something new and different.For his first solo
exhibition Cuban artist Victor Payares, who is currently finishing an MFA at the Royal College of
Art, is going to present new works and a site - specific installation that narrates elements of a memory from his
youth during the Cuban «Special Period»: «Payares» artistry is further inspired by elements of the everyday; he collects disregarded objects such as cables, clothing labels and trampled glasses found lying in the streets and repurposes them in his paintings.
