the Zelda gameplay formula.

Zelda fans usually come down between those who prefer the 2D
Zeldas, due to their priding of
gameplay over story and those who favour 3D
Zeldas, who provide players with a massive narrative and world, whilst sticking mainly to
formula when it comes to dungeon.
When I finally got my hands on the game, I wasn't disappointed; I found the
gameplay loop intensely satisfying and thought that The Legend of
Zelda series helped spice up the typical Warriors - like Musou
formula.
The Legend of
Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a bold stroke for a franchise typically known for tweaking rather than reinventing its iconic
gameplay formula.
Many games over the years have tried to use a
gameplay formula from popular games such as Super Mario Bros., Legend of
Zelda, and Mega Man.
The indie game uses familiar
formulas from classic 2D
Zelda games such as earning unique weapons in each dungeon, collecting heart pieces, and using an overhead style of
gameplay.
