I've been waiting to wear this skirt since the last month of my pregnancy, together with a similar one in burgundy, the grey
a-line skirt I was wearing the other day, and tons of chunky knits — which I could have worn during my pregnancy, but let's be honest, those would have made me look even bigger than I already was.

There
were so many ideas that ran through my head - I could style it with a pair of jeans for a casual vibe, I could
wear it with a pair of black slacks for a more business casual vibe or I could pair it with a great
a-line skirt perfect for brunch (although now that I have it on, it may
be something that I could
wear to work on a super casual Friday).

A-line, to keep things closer to the body).

skirt, but instead of my fitted knit pencil styles, this one has a more flattering
A-line silhouette and lengthening stripes to take the focus off of my waist.
Off - shoulder tops
are usually nicer when
worn tucked in especially when combined with an
A-line skirt but in this case I decided to go for a slightly undone look.
I normally
wear skirts with an
A-line silhouette, so this straight - ish fit
was a real detour for me in the style department.
