about Batman:
Arkham City.
Whenever I sit down and begin to think
about the games I'm looking forward to many titles pop into my head; Rage, Batman:
Arkham City, Gears of War 3 and so many more, but Modern Warfare 3 doesn't pop into my head.
So, I'm pretty sure that means you're excited
about its sequel, Batman:
Arkham City, and if you're not....
No, it's enough for me to tell you
about how similar
Arkham Origins is to
Arkham City.
(Before any of you start screaming how much better Batman
Arkham City is, yes, I'll admit it has better combat, story, voice acting, visuals, mission variety, combat again, and just
about every other element, but when it comes to free roaming, Spidey's web swinging still takes the cake.)
If there is anything to complain
about in
Arkham City, however, it's that the enemies seem to be blind and I feel as though they lose track of you a bit too easily, especially if you are in a small enclosed area.
This week — at least — I will talk
about the games I have unbridled excitement for (see: Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3, Pokémon White, Batman:
Arkham City).

Arkham City, and Need for Speed: The Run will probably be less rewarding than we'd like.
So here's the game idea; take everything from
Arkham City (if you don't know it stop reading), make it bigger by
about times 10, make Gotham an open world map and add Metropolis to the mix.
Lex is understandably upset
about this turn of events and so, like anybody would, he teams up with the Joker to get himself elected as president using the Jokers special gas (errr), causing all sorts of carnage on the way, such as unleashing
Arkham Asylum's inmates, flying a giant Joker robot across the
city and disintegrating the Batmobile.
I'm still just completely mind boggled that people actually play these call of duty games, games like skyrim, borderlands,
arkham city, dark souls, minecraft, halo, etc deserve to be on top more, at least the companies that make those games care
about what gamers think and arent like infinity ward and treyarch and just scrounge up a poorly made game in 2 years to make a fortune from the same dimwitted audience.
Even though the final battle in
Arkham City was probably it's greatest flaw, there was just something magical
about hearing Conroy say «I'll never let you win.....

about as good as it gets when it comes to action adventure video games.
One thing that has always bothered me
about the
Arkham series — from
City onwards — is the «local surveillance» radio feed.
I've been thinking
about this too, and after a long think I've come to the conclusion that multiplayer in the
Arkham universe would stick out like a sore thumb; it'd take away from the «one man versus a whole
city» atmosphere that Rocksteady are trying to achieve with the game.
I live in Canada and I bought the GoD version of
Arkham City about 6 months ago (whenever it was last on sale) and I was able to download had the Catwoman pack without any problems.
The map is
about five times the size of
Arkham City's but it also has the intricate detail fans would expect from a game in this series.»
There's just so much that
Arkham City gets right
about being the Batman.
While
Arkham City doesn't change up the formula all that much, it tweaks everything that was great
about the original just enough to make it seem fresh and original once again.

about certain aspects of the game, including the daunting task of following up Rocksteady's
Arkham Asylum and

Nothing's wrong with them and games like Batman
Arkham City did look good, but they took up
about half the presentation.
Surely the bitter cold and misty night has that dark and threatening thing
about the game, which I felt was a little lacking in
Arkham City.
Mark Rein, who said a few extremely positive things
