about child support and how I can assist with your
child support order or
modification.
In Georgia, there is much to know
about self - executing
modifications to parenting plans and
child support provisions.
There are many examples, including: the
support payor loses his / her job or becomes disabled, and needs a temporary or long term reduction in
support obligation; the
supported spouse needs an increase in
support for similar reasons; a parent moves away requiring
modification of the parenting schedule; a
child wants to significantly change the schedule, resulting in a change in both
child support and the schedule; disagreements
about parenting choices or activities for the
children; the family residence must be sold and the parties can not agree on terms.
An agreed or uncontested
modification case is uncontested when you and the other parties in your case agree (no one is contesting) to change terms in a previous order
about custody, visitation, or
child support.
