But first, a word
about fall decorating from me... I absolutely love the change of the season, love what fall stands for with the gathering together of family and friends in thanksgiving of our many blessing, and I love seeing and experiencing the colors of fall outside but, sometimes the oranges, golds, and browns that come with the season don't flow the best with my indoor color palette.

But, what I recently realized is that what I really love
about Fall is that you get all of those moments, that
decorating, those smells, those feelings, those memories and you have the HOPE of Christmas being right around the corner with none of the hubbub or craziness that comes with it.

Snow has officially
fallen here in Wisconsin so I don't feel to weird

decorating my Christmas Mantel.
Seems like half the posts I run across online right now is someone blogging
about pumpkin and apple recipes or
decorating their porch with
fall leaves and gourds.
Fall is my absolute favorite time of year and it's never too soon for me to think
about decorating for the seasonal change.
I'm so so excited to
decorate for the holidays and
fall — so you can expect to see a lot of posts
about how I transform this home for
fall and then Christmas!
It's hard to think
about decorating for
fall when it's been in the 90's all week though!
We know we love an awesome
decorated porch for
Fall, but what
about the interior of your home?
It's got me thinking
about decorating for
fall.
Fall is my absolute favorite time of year and it's never too soon for me to think

Summer is winding down and it's time to start thinking
about how to
decorate our porch for
Fall.
It is still so warm here, it is hard to think
about decorating for
fall.
This is the first time in a long time I've been excited
about decorating for
fall and I love the textures of all the velvet.
So happy to think
about decorating for
fall!
And I was just feeling a little down
about summer's end and kids heading to school... but you made me remember how much I love
fall — and all the
decorating and entertaining that goes with it!
We've been in a 700 sf apartment for the past three years, and we're so ready to have a place of our own to care for and
decorate, but we keep ourselves from getting overly excited because we're worried
about it all
falling through (having our very own place — with elbow room — almost seems too good to be true!).
I just completed a blog post this morning
about decorating for
fall with coastal elements — not always easy, but I think the driftwood centerpiece came out pretty cute!
This year I challenged myself to
decorating scavenger hunt: to capture all that I love
about Fall with some of my staple decorations that are already in the house.
