I turned an old, dark sideboard into a kitchen island about 3 years ago and it is lovely.

Now, 35 years later, my kitchen is so much larger, my son is all grown up and his friends don't inhabit my kitchen anymore, and I find myself longing for that lovely, tiny home I first lived in as a new wife, and yes... it took about 2 minutes to clean up!

White is always a beautiful and classic choice, but there is something I especially adore about a white kitchen when it is paired with a lovely gray.

I was a bit nervous about the table not being glossy and whether i may have made the wrong decision after placing the order as my kitchen is a gloss finish but it actually looks really nice and breaks up my finishes slightly, it does still have a lovely sheen on it.

There have been talks about making over our kitchen or our guest bathroom next, but honestly, I had my heart set on creating a lovely, relaxing, farmhouse style master bedroom right from the start.

Great tour, lovely kitchen and the family photos getting real are priceless and what it's all about!
