I Like It Thicker One thing I don't like
about the Quaker Oats packet
in the stores is that the
oatmeal is almost always too thin.
After
about a year of experimentation, I discovered that
oatmeal was a big factor
in the reflux.
The
oatmeal is my absolutely favorite part
in this cookie ~ there's just something
about the texture of
oatmeal that does it for me, maybe convinces me that the cookie is healthy and Spanx is totally unnecessary!
I use Country Crock
in just
about everything —
oatmeal, rice, potatoes, sauteing veggies, buttering toast — tons of stuff.
Thankfully I had had a large bowl of
oatmeal for breakfast so didn't get hungry until the end of my appointment, but I definitely thought
about how nice it would have been to have one of these Date Pecan Energy Bites
in my purse to hold me over!

oatmeal, flavored with classic Middle Eastern flavors to get you

Reheat
oatmeal by placing an individual serving on a plate, drizzling with a little coconut milk, and then heating
in the microwave for
about 30 seconds.

in the beginning I was a skeptical
about eating rice for breakfast, but I quickly discovered that it gives me long - lasting energy, makes me feel grounded and keeps me full until lunch - kind of like the very commonly enjoyed breakfast food,
oatmeal.
I tried to convince myself that «finally, tomorrow I'll add them to my
oatmeal in the morning,» but at the moment of truth I forgot

about 5 - 7 days
in the refrigerator.
I use it
in coffee and on
oatmeal, and just
about anything else I can think of!
I do not promote them as a health alternative, although I do believe that there is nothing unhealthy
about using a spoonful of low - sugar jam
in your morning yogurt,
oatmeal or toast.
I might stick a candle
in my
oatmeal just so I can take a picture for the blog, but that's
about as far as it goes.

Oatmeal for breakfast, you can of course make this using the microwave but I personally prefer cooking on the stove for a thick and creamy texture!
This is a great recipe, I never thought
about putting almond butter

in common with Italian cuisine, I think that savory oats speak loudly
about the types of recipes I am constantly thinking
about and the type of recipes I like to come up with.
Oatmeal raisin cookies, lemon meringue pie, and carrot cake are all
in the top five as well, but there's something
about a brownie that makes me feel comforted.
This Quinoa and
Oatmeal Cereal cooks up
in about 30 minutes and doesn't require much hand - holding.
This vegan carrot cake baked
oatmeal takes
about 30 minutes
in the oven, then just needs to cool for a bit before turning it out and cutting into squares.
That being said — whenever I check out a new bakery, if they have
oatmeal cookies on the menu, I can guarantee you that I will be buying one (okay most likely two) of those
oatmeal bad boys — that is,

The great thing
about making your own instant
oatmeal is that you don't have to have ingredients found
in the packets (like sodium.)
I'm amazed that they come out the way they do with not one bit of flour I put some ground
oatmeal flour
in about a quarter of a cup just to give em a little bit more density good stuff!
