If you're a
SAHM, even part - time, you desire a bit of a break, and moms» night out, for us, is all
about being happy - hour break for other moms (regardless of their sex at birth, regardless of their sexual orientation) who want the same sort of break too.
The support I have gotten
about not breast feeding (aside from here) has been from women like my mom and her friends - who breast fed while being
SAHMs 30 years ago.
In fact, just last month we wrote
about a survey of 700 mothers — working and
SAHMs; regardless of «title,» a whopping 90 % of respondents were losing sleep over the exact same concerns (stressing over money, worrying
about the kids, finding enough time for their partner and managing the household).

about potty - training so that he'll be fully trained by the time he goes back to school in a few months.
Of course being a
SAHM, I change most of the diapers, however, I just want to say that my husband has been so awesome
about Cloth Diapers!

One of the biggest misconceptions
about stay - at - home moms relates to money, and it's a topic that pits mom against mom and the
SAHM against society.
Some people do think
SAHMs are living a lavish lifestyle and that at - home parents don't have to worry
about money because the one person earning income in the house must bring home a six - figure paycheck.
This 10 percent translates to
about one percent of the 35 - million U.S. mothers, both working moms and
SAHMs, ages 18 to 69.
I try to be subtle and practical
about my fashion and not go for all the trends (37
sahm here, got ta keep it real).
Even
SAHMs need a mother's helper especially when you don't have family close by... right now I don't but trust me it crosses my mind a lot more as he gets older and more mobile (now 8 1/2 months) so I can spend quality time with my little one without worrying
about cooking and cleaning!
When we spend most of our time with children under 4 feet tall,
SAHMs do tend to talk in shorter sentences and have limited topics to talk
about — we're not exactly spending our time watching the latest news on CNN or sitting around memorizing the Oxford English Dictionary for fun.
While we're far from lazy, some say
SAHMs complain too much
about everything we have to do.
How
about lawyers, spend a stint as a
SAHM and I guess your opinion doesn't count anymore, eh?
