When trying to lose 30 pounds in 2011, I found myself thinking at length
about the
cookies, cake, and
ice cream I was passing up, trying to rationalize whether I could have a small piece, what the effect might be, and whether I even wanted to lose weight.
Using a 1 ounce
ice -
cream scoop, drop scoops of
cookie dough in dollops
about 3 inches apart.
After the
ice cream stiffens (
about 2 mins before it is done), add the chopped
cookies, then continue freezing until
ice cream is ready.
The cooler weather undoubtedly calls for chocolate in holiday
cookies and mugs of hot chocolate, while summertime is all
about chocolate
ice cream, fudgsicles, and s» mores.
One of my favorite things
about these
cookies is that, because they are chewy, they make fabulous
ice cream sandwiches.
Using a small
ice cream scooper (
about 1» in diameter) scoop the
cookie batter onto the parchment paper, 1» apart.
Using a small
ice -
cream scoop or tablespoon (15 ml), drop small mounds of the mixture onto the
cookie sheets
about 1 inch (2.5 cm) apart.
For each
cookie, drop 1 generous tablespoon of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing the mounds

ice cream scoop).
Sometimes I use an
ice cream scoop to make the
cookies but sometimes I just feel like it's too much work, so I sometimes I make them like a bar
cookie in my
cookie sheets
about 3/4 inch deep and it saves time.
-- On a lower speed, add eggs one at a time and vanilla until well incorporated — Increase mixing speed to high and let it go for 10 minutes — the mixture will become really pale and will almost double in size — In a medium sized bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt — When 10 minutes are up, add flour mixture slowly until just combined,
about 45 - 60 seconds — Chop up and mix together all of your baking and snack ingredients in a small bowl, and fold into batter with a spatula until just incorporated — Using a medium - sized
ice cream scoop, portion
cookie dough on parchment paper - lined
cookie sheet and wrap the entire thing tightly with plastic wrap — Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour and up to 1 week — Heat oven to 400F and arrange
cookies on
cookie sheets at least 4 ″ apart — Bake 9 - 11 minutes, until they are golden in color and slightly brown along the edges — Cool the
cookies completely on the sheet pan (or just eat them immediately...)

Portion out with a 1/4 or 1/3
ice cream or
cookie scoop and place on prepared pans

ice cream scoop, form the dough into balls the size of walnuts and place them on the
cookie sheet

Once cool, place
about a tablespoon of
ice cream on one
cookie and gently top with a second
cookie.
Scoop 2 to 3 tablespoon portions of the
cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet using a medium - size spring - loaded
ice cream scoop, placing them
about 1 1/2 - inches apart from one another.
I don't know
about you, but my favorite part
about ice cream cake is the fudge
cookie crumble in the middle.
Using a
cookie scoop or small
ice cream scoop, divide the mixture into even sized meatball portions
about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
I love everything
about lavender, its color, its aroma and I absolutely enjoy using it in various special desserts like in macarons,
ice cream, or simply in a lemonade, and now in this delicious Lavender Chocolate
Cookies.
Use an
ice cream or
cookie scoop and scoop out
about two tablespoons of batter and place on the baking sheet.
Working quickly so
ice cream doesn't melt, cut block lengthwise into 5 equal rows and then crosswise into thirds so you have 15 pieces measuring
about 4x1 1/2» Working with 1 brick of
ice cream at a time, use a thin metal spatula to place on a flat - side - up
cookie and top with a right - side up
cookie.
The other nice thing
about this recipe is both the
ice cream and the
cookie part are only sweetened using wholesome dates.
To assemble sandwiches, scoop
about 3 teaspoons of
ice cream onto half of the
cookie squares and top each with another
cookie.

Once I made the vegan & paleo edible

am on Day 6 First time... has been the easiest diet ever and was 6 ponds down on the 5th Day and I agree that this diet has lots of nutrition... do nt know what the person above was talking
about (dangerously low in nutrition and calories) I have been a purest with it as well and have not suffered any... my version allows Beef or skinless chicken on the meat days and does not have all the added things I have seen above; but my cravings for chocolate,
ice cream,
cookies etc have dissapeared... my diet also warns to take a two week break between rounds... I am hoping the next two weeks I will eat smaller portions and stick to healthy foods... then I will try for the next 10 pounds
