There is something wonderful
about Fall, the best part is of course cooking with
apples and pumpkin: — RRB - I love hush puppies, so making
apple hush puppies is brilliant!!!
I truly love being
about to enjoy being outside
and doing fall - ish things with my family —
apple picking
and pumpkin picking, watching the hounds at one of the local farms, or playing on the playground while bundled in sweatshirts.
There's something special
about this time of year when the weather starts to cool down, the leaves turn beautiful shades of orange
and red,
and there's
pumpkins,
apples and all other sorts of fall foods everywhere that you can go
and pick as well.

Apple Pies
For the past couple of weeks I've been daydreaming
about apples and pears, cranberries
and warming spices,
and of course,
pumpkin.
Ingredients: 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1 yellow onion, roughly chopped 1 3/4 pound butternut squash, peeled, halved, seeded,
and cut into 1 - inch chunks (
about 5 cups) 2
apples (like Fuji), halved, cored,
and roughly chopped 4 cups low - sodium chicken broth or veggie stock 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 1 teaspoon
pumpkin pie spice plus extra for serving Coconut yogurt for topping, optional
Between the covers, there are 105 recipes (85 percent that have never been seen on this site),
about two - thirds of them are savory (including a beloved recipe for featherlight Gnocchi in Tomato Broth, a Flat Roasted Chicken with Tiny Potatoes inspired by something we bought on a Paris street,
and an absolutely hideous but boundlessly delicious Wild Rice Gratin with Kale
and Caramelized Onions)

and it will now be my go - to crust!

and apple cinnamon energy bars.

and designer boots, caramel
apples, hot cider, the beautiful colored foliage, hayrides
and the crisp cooler weather, autumn is all
about comfort
and warmth!
We have plans to visit a

and cookies,
and of course get ready for Christmas which they have been asking
about already.

Once Fall arrives, I'm all
about the baking
and gorging on

and pumpkin spice coffee.
This train comes with a lot of accessories: a buildable tree, two figurines (train driver
and car driver), flowers, crates of
apples and pumpkins for loading the car,
and an open level crossing, which can serve as a way to educate your young child
about railroad safety.

My 5 - year - old has asked me
about 20 times over the last week to make some
pumpkin bread so this one is for her... grab some

It's only
about 4 hours from the city by car, Trevi absolutely loves it,
and we get to back up a storm with all the fresh Vermont
apples and pumpkin.

about fall, the first two flavors that come to mind are

about fall: gorgeous foliage, cooler temperatures, boots

and new beers.
I know most people are all
about pumpkin once September gets here but for me fall is all
about apples and the subtle fall spices that go with them.
There's nothing that I don't like
about fall; from the falling leaves to all of the great holidays,

and oh my goodness, the fashion.
Seems like half the posts I run across online right now is someone blogging
about pumpkin and apple recipes or decorating their porch with fall leaves
and gourds.
Whether it's

pumpkin, choose the pie of your choice
