more convinced I am that it can only be good for the
baby, and that there are clear benefits to longer term
breastfeeding.
Now we're finally home and this last few nights my frustration level with all this
breastfeeding stuff has been escalating significantly, to the point that I dread the moment my wife will feed our child and when the feeds take over an hour at 11 pm and we have to wake up again in
about 1.5 to 2 hours my frustration becomes
more like rage against both the
baby and my wife.

breastfeeding (I think they were most likely from a giveaway I did ages ago and not on the same page re: bf etc) Apart from that, I love telling Mums on the ward (I'm a bf peer supporter) I'm still feeding as it opens their mind to that possibility and I think I look pretty normal so it mostly doesn't freak them out My son is far too busy to nurse out and
about and prefers juice so we've not nursed in public (apart from support group) since he was 18 mths and that was as I had a blocked duct!

about the harmful effects on
babies whose mothers drink during pregnancy than on the children of mothers who drink and

I got to be pretty good at brushing off the comments and ignoring the unwanted advice, but the
more I looked into it, the
