Man, the number of so - called «experts» I hear say «it's all
about burning more calories than you consume».

I've talked
about this a million time before, but if you aren't creating a consistent «
calorie surplus» every day by
consuming more calories than you
burn, you are NOT going to gain any appreciable amount of muscle.
It is not all
about burning calories though, yes in order to lose weight you want to
burn off
more than you
consume but you also need to look at what you are eating.
In other words, what
about purposely
consuming more calories than I'm able to
burn in order to increase my size?
The nutritionist taught me
about eating veggies, fruits, and
consuming lots of water, and that I'd never get heavier if I ate no
more calories than I was able to
burn off in one day.
