The great
thing about chalk paint is you can just jump right in and start painting pretty much, which is exactly what I did.
I have two
comments about chalk paint: 1: it is not a one coat wonder... It is great but works best with several coats thinning each coat a bit until you have a nice finish.
Love this paint color... can you tell me paint brand and color... I would like to re purpose a dresser for my daughters room, and know
nothing about chalk paint... also wax finish?
Back then ours started doing the same thing and I didn't know
about chalk paint t hen, maybe it didn't even exist yet.
I guess I'm late to the game, but I didn't really see the big deal or understand why everyone was
raving about chalk paint.
The great
thing about chalk paint is you just clean your cabinets with a degreaser (I used TSP from the hardware store) and then paint them!

way about chalk paint... I used it once but freaked out after the first coat:) Luckily the additional coats make me feel better.

I never
thought about chalk paint, all the tutorials I've seen about painting tile or countertops require priming, painting and sealer, would be nice to skip the priming step!
This was a helpful writeup telling
us about the chalk paints we can buy... useful one... I think you only said that one advantage of chalk paint is that you don't need another quote so it is easier, you said that when you were renovating the bed for the guest room for the one room challenge I think...
