I watched DT being interviewed on Arsenal fan TV after the Liverpool destruction and while his rant was justified it didn't really offer any suggestion as to how we would bring
about change in our club.

what they have to do is be professional
about their line of work but they can simply view it as their work and if you do nt like their performance as employee of the brand, you can demand
change and criticise but just being disappointed with the results do nt give the fans the right to insult on such a low level like some guys on here and
in this kind of view insulting a man who worked 20 years absolutely professionally for a

Maybe I am just being cynical here, but when I hear people that have previously taken great delight

Of course it would be silly to suggest that winning any game, cup or otherwise, isn't good for the
club, but let's remember just how problematic FA Cup success has been for this
club... I'm certainly not going to suggest I didn't enjoy seeing Arsenal win, I'm a fan of this
club first and foremost, but how bad are things when you find yourself secretly wishing that your own team lost so that just maybe real
change would finally come... I resent this team for even making me feel such thoughts and it's going to take a lot of effort on their part to earn my trust again... this
club has treated the fans so poorly that it has created an incredibly fragile and toxic environment, so much so that a «what have you done for me lately» mentality has emerged... fans rise and fall depending on the results of each game because we don't have faith
in those
in charge to make the necessary
changes to personnel and tactics... each time we win many fans attack any dissenting voices and make unrealistic claims
about the players, the manager and the potential for unprecedented success... every time we lose the boo - birds run rampant, calling for heads to roll and predicting the worst... regardless of what side you fall on, it's not your fault, both sides are simply overcompensating for the horrible state of affairs that have been percolating for several years... it's hard to take the long view when those
in charge have lied incessantly and refuse to take any responsibilities for their own actions...
in the end, we are trapped by the same catch - 22 that ManU faced upon Fergie's exit... less fearful of maintaining the status quo than facing the unknown, which was validated, wrongly or rightly, by witnessing the difficulties they have faced during this transitory period... to be honest, the thing that scares me most is that this team has never prepared whatsoever for this eventuality, which considering our frugal nature and the way we have shunned many of our most revered former players is more than a little disconcerting
If the

Just something to think

nice to see you crawl out of your hole just

in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which at that point was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or world - class players into the fold without being fearful of how said players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all

in the removal of all our greatest players, both young and old, without any real replacements coming

club was no longer interested
in competing at the highest levels... instead of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium, Wenger chose to side with management and
in doing so became the «front man» for this corporation pretending to be a world - class soccer
club... without the «front man» this organization would have been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence was imperative if the facade was to continue... it's for this reason and more that I despise what this once great man and Kroenke has done to my beloved
club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion
in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but as long as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow
Come on mate everyone knows our

in our life time again football has
changed since the billionaires have come
in we had to make the
changes no other manager could of kept us
in the top four while we had to
change our whole structure I'm not saying wenger is perfect he does fustrate us all sometimes but were
in safe hands and were going
in the right direction not that I know a lot
about the ffp but something is happening and every year we seem to becoming
in a stronger position to what wenger is trying to achieve for our
club we all know this is wenger last contract and even if he win the cl or the epl he won't sign another contract it just fustrates me that the way people act sometimes our time is coming even wen wenger leaves we will still have hope that we can compete for honours lets just enjoy beign arsenal fans and what will be will be cause wen
in a very stable position and that is all the hope I need that our time will come
in the future COYG

change will come without a dedicated effort on the part of those that feed the beast... our absentee landlord doesn't invest his own money into this
club, so
in order to force out Kroenke, Wenger and whatever other vermin currently haunt our hallowed halls we need to hit him where it really hurts... continually filling «his» stadium and the constant buying of endless merchandise, like one of the 58 different jerseys available over the last few years, makes us the greatest enablers of all time... have we no self - respect?
«Finishing below Spurs» If it leads to

about Spurs, I don't even consider them as rival... More chants and more banners please, we demand

Spoiler Alert people, we are not getting anyone
in the front striker position OTHER than what we already have, there was a story
in the star yestrday
about the 250 million wenger is looking to spend on the likes of Marco Ruess ect ect and I really can not believe that after all these years the Prof will
change his ways and spend all that money and evern if he was going to he needs to pull his finger out as all the top players are being strongly linked with other
clubs, meanwhile we wait for the brat Vardy to make up his mind when we know he is highly unlikely to come to us another summer of dissapointment for us as wenger has already stated that Giroud will lead the line next season.
Mate, This is Wenger's Arsenal that we are talking
about, Player's from the past and present have stated on many occasions that there isn't much talking done
in the
changing rooms from Wenger and if thats how our manager sets his example then I doubt that our present
club Captain does much either.
Kroenke knows nothing
about football therefore has no regard for the game, the players or the nonce to know when to
change a manager let alone who would be an asset at taking the
club forward and to where it needs to go to compete with the Big Boys
in the league or Europe for that matter.
There's so much wrong with Arsenal if we were given chances to write
about them it would take a year. What kind of mentality is this.Forgive me for the way I come out but what has to be said has to be said and the truth hurts.I do nt know if you guys are happy with what's going on but am not.We live
in a world where those who speak the truth are hated very much and a world full of incomprehensible things. Its just sad.Things have to
change from this year especially the mentality of this
club.I just wan na see my
club succeed and its bothering me a lot we just can not seem to do what is right. It's time average players are taken out of the
club and what I mean by that is players who do nt want to improve. You already them lot.
To be honest the season is 3 weeks old and i have had enough already cos i know nothing is going to
change 3rd or 4th finish quarter finalist champs league and a decent cup run who can be excited
about that its the same every season the
club has lost its ambition and until that
changes this will just continue season after season at this moment
in time i hate being an arsenal supporter and having followed them for over 30 years i never thought i would ever say that!!
I'm so sick of people telling those of us who are disgruntled fans to relax and give this
club time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good long look at themselves
in the mirror because they are a big part of the problem... no other «big»
club's fans would stand for this shit for nearly as long as we have... think
about it, we've witnessed a
changing of the guard at every major
club in England, Spain, France and Germany
in the last several years because those «big»
clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many fans have become as fragile as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone of these
clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our
club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's fans, telling countless lies (no world class players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the biggest lie of all: that we couldn't spend because of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any team
in the world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those
in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our next coach the same way they choose our players, on the cheap... even so, we need to see what mustache will do if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours... only then can we purge this
club and start anew
I personally believe that Wenger didn't push to have the contracts of Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey and Ox renewed earlier because he was going to use it as leverage when renegotiating his own deal... so far that tactic has backfired as we know little more
about this squad moving forward than we did
in May and Wenger clearly misjudged just how important his staying would be to both Sanchez and Ox... I like Lacazette, but I liked him a lot more 2 years ago at 20 million less... Sead might come good but once again he wasn't a necessity buy, except that he was a free transfer and was signed early... another «wag the dog» tactic employed by the powers that be... as for the rest of the roster, very little has
changed, except that it's way too big and lacks the cutting edge to take this
club to new heights.
hehe well u r the one who is delusional talking
about arsenal is
in ur bloods well for us arsenal is our blood.whats this with wenger support if its top four that u guys value so much and hve made it more appealing than a epl title wow shame on of all us see what we hve turned aarsenal into.THIS IS ARSENAL.the moment someone becomes bigger than a
club then no way are things okay.ill end with asking my question which has not been answered yet... do u believe wenger will win title with arsenal nxt yeat (epl), do u believe we will be among the strong contenders for the title untill the end when it matters most???? wenger is a smart guy he knows nxt season automatic arsenal will be struggling even for fourth so that is our target and its a shame we fans r ready to waste another year.I am done with this saga we will find out soon enough and I hope and pray we don't regret giving this so called legend another chance coz I hve screamed, cried, and pple dare call pple who want
change not arsenal fans or not die hards.cheers guys seems top four is safe our annual top fourbparade is
in place
I know that Arsenal are
in a strong state, financially speaking but at the same time I do not think that our manager and board are
about to
change the way they work, which is fundamentally based on balancing the books and operating on a sound business footing rather than being a rich man's plaything like some
clubs in the Premier League and around Europe seem to be.
-- the only way the
club will make a move is when the owner
changes his mind
about the relative advantages and disadvantages of having Wenger
in charge.
this season was supposed to be
about the epl not fourth place.just seeing how empty the Emirates was yesterday I expect it to be even worse
in the upcoming games.wenger blew it
in the transfer market, I think that
in itself shows how we lacked ambition and we settled for a top four from the beginning and if by a chance we managed to win epl then thats it.lossing some games, crucial points and the feedback we got back was just covering the real goals of the
club top four.soton home (a team challenging has to win this game), Crystal palace, swansea, just add those points and see where we could and should hve been.everyone here is a die hard arsenal fan whether an akb or aob but fact remains we love the
club, we want the
club to move forward, we want the
club to be a superhouse, its got nothing to do with wengers last year or his last chance of epl.this sort of thinking is running our beloved
club to the ground.whether u like it or not a
change is needed and a serious one.at the moment we hve so many bogey teams do u think arsene will beat them nxt season!!!
Well written, but I think it will fall on deaf ears, my fear is as follows, it will take a loss
in money for the manager and board to
change, this will only come if we finish out of the top 4, but knowing the board they would still give home a season to try again, I feel very sorry for Sanchez, he is total quality and deserves better, most of the other players look settled, turn up give70 % and get paid, no matter what level you play at you should come off the pitch thinking I gave everything, how many of our players could say that, they lack motivation, player for player we are as good if not better than athletico Madrid but they have a manger that gets 100 % out of every player, Klopp is the same, but why would they leave their
clubs to come here with a boar that cares
about money not entertainment, Wenger was a lucky manager he inherited a top defence now his luck has run out
The
club are spending no more money this window - unless an unknown no hoper, Sanogo style, from the French lower division comes for loose
change — and this Scrooge
club are simply trying to recoup the Lacazette fee from existing deadwood, reduce the wagebill and con us poor mug fans once again with lies
about this or that big player being on the radar, when the truth is — as we cynics know very well, who have learned better from bitter experiience of the
clubs constant lies — that no one of note is coming
in and this dishonourable, shifty
club continue to drag our former great name
in the mud, with their corrupt misrunning of our once great and glorious
club.
A
club run by joe Lewis lol when was the last fuking time Spurs won a trophy give it a fuking rest Wenger has won more trophies then spuds
in their whole fuking history Sick of plastic fans constantly knocking the manager and players like you are fuking genius experts
in knowing all
about football We have the worst fan base
in football a bunch of ingrates Why would any top player come and join Arsenal when they see how fans treat their own players like ozil Lol at people talking
about Spurs and pool fukers don't win any trophies but their fans stay loyal ours turn nasty every game werther we win or lose It won't
change even if we get a new manager they will turn on him at first defeat What we need is for the vocal minority of plastic key board fans to fuk off and stop bringing the
club down Coyg
Not a word
about the future of the football
club, the plans we have, no holding anybody or anything to account, and his nonsensical «catalyst of
change» mess can go into the same dump bin his «We can compete with Bayern Munich» horse dump lives
in now.
Great to get this win on the back of the NLD and despite the negatives (Kroenke, Wenger, Sachnez & Ozil's contract situations)-- I remain excited
about this
club, especially some of the
changes going on
in the backroom staff.
Deluded manager plus greedy board has created a crisis at arsenal with third rate players being paid first rate wages to keep them loyal and drugged up fans like yourself overdosing on 4th place high... True fans want
change when they see the
club going
in wrong direction not a string of drug crazed platitudes from tribal loyalists who are so deluded themselves that they actually believe the blame for the crisis lies with the people who have been pointing to its causes... Do you think financial crises only happen because people start warning
about overlevaraged banks, the speculative and fraudulent behaviour of their overpaid employees and the indulgence of their massively overpaid senior management... Pathetic comment
Although I've found it very cathartic to speak, vent and end occasionally rant
about all things Arsenal, we need to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going to get played by this
club even worse than at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion of the season ticket holders, don't want to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger has mailed it
in for several years now or that things are going to get much worse before they get better... why would they... many have spent a considerable sum buying some of the highest priced tickets
in the World... they want to have a front row seat to see something special and to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification for the expense and the time invested... to many of them, Wenger is the sun
in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack of balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed to embolden those who already felt pretty highly of themselves... many might not even of really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them with their required fix... if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill to swallow... they would have to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them feel this way, but of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard with ridiculous comments bordering of anarchy, it scares the shit out of them and they shift their blame towards us rather than at those who really perpetrated this act of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments have gotten more vile
in recent years is out of utter frustration...
in order for any real
change to occur at this
club we need to bring as many supporters as possible with us or the big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time to focus on the head instead of the heart for now
I've been a Gooner for 32 years and am not
about to throw the towel
in because you suggest I do so and I'm not happy
in watching this creeping malaise that has
changed my
club.
A Sky Sports report reveals that Cantona is the only player ever to win back to back titles
in England with different
clubs but that could be
about to
change if the former Arsenal keeper helps Arsenal to the trophy this season.
In any other instance when a player rebels against the club and coach for whatever reason there is no room for doubt, disciplinary actions must be taken, even when he is your best player...... it could be the case even for SANCHEZ, those words no player is greater than the Club are well understood, the problem in this case is that a growing majority of the Fans are fed up with the Club and Manager, years of frustration, deception nothing changing and doing nothing about it has the great majority of Fans siding with the Player against the Club and Manager...... unfortunately both lost the respect of most ARSENAL fans, there is a revolt brewing YES like every year the difference this year is that losing Sanchez will not go without consequence..

there is no doubting that Arsene has helped to provide us with some incredible footballing moments
in the formative years of his managerial career at Arsenal, but that certainly doesn't and shouldn't mean that he has earned the right to decide when and how he should leave this
club... there have been numerous managers at each of the biggest
clubs in Europe throughout the last decade who have waged far more successful campaigns than ours yet somehow and someway each were given their walking papers because they failed to meet the standards laid out by the hierarchy of their respective
clubs... of course that doesn't mean that
clubs should simply follow the lead of others, especially if
clubs of note have become too reactionary when it comes to issues of termination, for whatever reasons, but there should be some logical discourse when it comes to the setting of parameters for a
changing of the guard...
in the case of Arsenal, this sort of discourse was largely stifled when the higher - ups devised their sinister plan on the eve of our move to the Emirates... by giving Wenger a free pass due to supposed financial constraints he, unwittingly or not, set the bar too low... it reminds me of a landlord who says he will only rent to «professional people» to maintain a certain standard then does a complete
about face when the market is lean and vacancies are up... for those who rented under the original mandate they of course feel cheated but there is little they can do, except move on, especially if the landlord clearly cares more
about profitability than keeping their word... unfortunately for the lifelong fans of a football
club it's not so easy to switch allegiances and frankly why should they,
in most cases we have been around far longer than them... so how does one deal with such an untenable situation... do you simply shut - up and hope for the best, do you place the best interests of those with only self - serving agendas above the collective and pray that karma eventually catches up with them, do you run away with your tail between your legs and only return when things have ultimately
changed, do you keep trying to find silver linings to justify your very existence, do you lower your expectations by convincing yourself it could be worse or do you stand up for what you believe
in by holding people accountable for their actions, especially when every fiber of your being tells you that something is rotten
in the state of Denmark
About the UCL draw, if we something doesn't
change around this our beloved
club, we might have Bayern dealing with us
in a bad way.
We do nt need massed amounts of money we can spend
about half whats
in the bank (200m +) to complete our squad and with an ambitious owner who will spend THE
CLUBS MONEY... 2nd, a manager who will spend the money that isnt a liar, deluded or arrogant to a level where he can do no wrong ever from the powers above or
change his methods / ways just to prove he can and is punishing the fans with all his BS ober the years.
Giroud — unless he was willing to be the super-sub without throwing himself on his sword
in the press every ten minutes, as he simply represents all that has been wrong with this
club since the sale of RVP... his presence on the pitch makes it impossible for us to make the necessary
changes to our offensive scheme... just think
about what teams were interested
in him, besides the bullshit
about Dortmund... it was West Ham, Everton and Marseille, none of which have the history, supposed aspirations or financial resources to create a one - touch forward - thinking offensive scheme
The
club he went to says he was a massive influence
in changing the player mindset
about their own fitness, we see how Alexis mindset helps him so isn't this a good thing?
Carlo would be a good appointment to the
club and bring
about a
change in the way we play but still does not guarantee anything better than what we already have with wenger and as for dopey Barton, who listens to him anyway.
Reports
in Spain claim the France international is still open - minded
about his next move as he plans on
changing clubs this summer.
There is a chance that Arsenal Wenger or the Arsenal squad could well find themselves being overhauled
in the coming summer, with plenty of talk
about change with the
club struggling to mount a worthy title challenge, while also struggling to keep pace with their top - four rivals.
As much as any fan that gets upset with Wenger I share the same compliment as
in I'm not afraid of
change and at this pace I rather it sooner than later... I respect Wenger to the max for what he has done for our
club but I have to be honest, at this point I'm starting to imagine life after... Think
about it we still haven't figured out top teams and we're lucky to leave the Etihad that day with all 3 points if City hadn't just got off the plane.
(3) this team is rotting from the inside out and it's going to take some unprecedented moves on the part of this board and the fans to facilitate the necessary
changes... this
club must rid itself of it's absentee billionaire landlord before we become just another sporting wasteland
in this man's collection of flailing
clubs... when this is done it will expose just what exactly has been going on behind the scenes and I'm afraid of what will be uncovered because if Wenger's business model is as antiquated as his football philosophy it could look an awful lot like and old Monty Python sketch
in the backroom... we need to replace the owner with someone who actually cares
about this
club and isn't afraid to wear their emotions on his or her sleeves or spend their own money to achieve greatness... this new owner needs to find someone who represents the same sort of cutting edge that Wenger represented
in his early years then pair that individual with someone who knows how to conduct transfers
in the modern era... then and only then will we find a way to escape the malaise that has permeated our once storied
club for way too many years
There is no real answer to the question you have posed because this
club has once again hedged their bets on doing the bare minimum then hoping for the best... if they were serious
about changing the stagnant culture that has permeated the
club since our move from the Highbury, we would have immediately released and / or moved several players
in the early days of the window... this would have demonstrated to the fans that they were serious
about addressing our obvious inadequacies... likewise this would have forced them to bring
in replacements because they couldn't have used the lame excuse Wenger is presently spewing
about having too many players... we functionally have the same amount of players as we did when the window first opened but he didn't say jack
about it then... he simply waited until the inevitable happened then pulled out his excuse Rolodex, closed his eyes and randomly drew the «too many players» card... the more he opens his mouth, the more I understand his «god» complex when it relates to all things Arsenal... what other manager could continually do the same dumb shit, not address obvious concerns for years, speak to the fans
in such a condescending manner, face enormous criticism from many of his former star players and be the architect of so many failed player signings yet be one of the highest paid managers with the longest tenure
in Europe... maybe Kroenke is colourblind and instead of seeing all the red flags he can only see the GREEN ones ($ $ $)
Then we can
change manager
in a better environment slightly less competitive environment which is almost certainly what both Wenger who loves the
club and the board have been thinking
about in their decision making.
