Of course, I don't want to spend the entire winter indoors and skipping my workouts, so I decided to change up my
thinking about the cold weather starting right now.

I am obliged to write
about cold weather in a warming world — particularly when it's used as a hook for news stories, prominent editorials, TV coverage — and try to explain what's up for the many readers out there who might find this confusing (whether through disinformation, a lack of basic scientific literacy, or whatever).
Thankfully I've been able to lightly layer some newer pieces that are extremely cozy, but are still cute and make me feel less drab and
sad about the cold weather lingering.
