We talk a lot
about cooking times on this site, and as with most grains (or grain - like ingredients), cooking time can vary greatly from rice to rice depending on the type of wild rice you buy, when it was harvested, and so on - so keep that in mind as you go into any recipe that features wild rice.
Not sure
about cooking time so I've increased to 10 min but will keep same 5 min natural release.
A note
about cook time: I've found that 12 hours is the sweet spot for my slow - cooker — any longer, and it actually overcooks and the gelatin is broken down into amino acids (you will know when this happens because the broth is liquid when cold rather than gelatinous).
The app will give you a pretty good idea
about cooking times, but you do want to check with a meat thermometer to get to your desired doneness.
