Hi Tanene, I created this recipe in grams so I'm not sure
about the cup measurements exactly but it's about 5 cups of oats.

I really want to make these for my boys first birthday party but am worried
about getting them wrong without a weight /

cup is different in the US, UK and Oz.
About 2
cups frozen cubed up watermelon 1
cup rosé (I just use the 1
cup measurement that I used to measure out the watermelon)
I divided the recipe into two half - batches so that the mixer could handle it, and these are the
measurements I used for each: 1 6/8 tsp yeast (active dry, not instant) 1
cup minus 2 tbsps lukewarm water 1/2 tbsp sugar 1/4
cup oil 1/2 tbsp salt 4 1/4
cups flour, plus
about 2 more tbsps per batch (I was afraid to add much more)

I am very precise
about measurements but I used liquid measuring
cups for the liquids and maybe this recipe does not.
Using US
measurements 1
cup (of 240 ml) has
about 125 g of flour.
Only used half the ketchup and brown sugar and proceeded with recommended
measurements for remaining sauce ingredients, but added
about a 1/3 to 1/2
cup of the broth from the chicken (depending on how thin or thick you like your sauce).
In reply to the person that complained
about the
measurements being in spoons and
cups, wanting it in grams and mills instead, I am in Australia and there is no problem with using the
cups and spoons system.
For the liquid
measurements, 1
cup liquid is equal to
about 250 ml.
When done condensed milk should thickly coat a spoon and measure
about two
cups, but that
measurement doesn't have to be exact.
Make sure you use a small onion (
about 1/3
cup chopped) so the liquid
measurement is not thrown off.
For just
about any ingredient you can always google xxx
cups to grams (or whatever
measurement you are most familiar with) and find a good estimate that way.
I was very careful
about the
measurements and rechecking my used measuring
cups confirms I used the correct
measurements.
As Sara said, you need
about 1/2
cup + 1 tbsp maple syrup to triple the recipe, but the other
measurements aren't that user friendly for 4 times the recipe so here it is:
