This could get very confusing if an author has to make

As a writer who is finishing Volume II, This Changes My Family and my Life Forever, and marketing (release date, December 20) Volume I, This Changes Everything of The Spanners Series, I am also writing, marketing, learning

It seems to have a lot of features that I'm just not entirely sure
about, and I also think the newer version of Calibre is missing or has changed certain things; for instance, I can't find the option to maintain my
cover's image dimensions (unless that's because I'm outputting to mobi instead of epub), which leads me to my additional question: How do I stop Calibre from constantly resizing my 1600 × 2400 image (what I've read is ideal size for use through any
ebook distribution channel) down to 1333x???? (sorry, not at my computer at present so can't remember the dimensions it shrinks it to).

cover image here and other places online.

about the spine and the back
cover (again something you don't have to think
about when designing an
ebook cover).

about what size to make
ebook covers and what type of files are needed by different publishing platforms.

ebooks, industry standard is 25 % of NET — the price HarperCollins gets paid by the retailer, typically

The small dimension (width) of your
cover should be at least 1400 pixels, which sounds like overkill given that your book

eBook covers that don't look right or attractive, let alone communicate anything
about the story.

covered 1,577 parents, 62 percent stated their kids aged 2 — 10 have access to a tablet or
ebook reading device, but only
