That's because we have learned a lot
about the different quirks of all the different digital book
stores, so we always start with this generic review copy of your
ebook, but we actually process that file and convert it into a customized version every time we deliver it to one of our partner
stores.
Last year I read 45
ebooks and 8 paper books, but I actually spent more on those physical books as I did in the Kindle
store (a total
about # 70 on the paper ones, and # 44.82 on
ebooks — all the
ebooks I've bought and not read yet [if I ever will, as I continue to buy faster than I read] pretty much equal the total spend though).
Fact is though — not everyone will want to opt for an investment in an eBay
store, whereas — everyone can in fact create an
eBook about some topic they are interested in.

about any format you want for your device of choice at All Romance
eBooks, though, and for the remainder of today they're offering a 50 % rebate on everything in their

about that is that if that is true today, when happens over the next year or two as

One of the misunderstandings authors have
about the sale of
ebooks abroad is that customers in countries that do not have their own dedicated Amazon
stores are still often able to use a «neighboring» Amazon.

store, or in your bookcase — no, I'm not talking
about your Kindle
ebooks — you will find they usually have a very similar structure.
There's a lot of talk
about how there's more competition in the Kindle
Store and elsewhere these days — more independent authors publishing and also more Big 6 backlist books being put out in
ebook form, but if you can cultivate a fan base that enjoys your work and will try a lot of what you write, then you can do this for a living, providing you're able to publish regularly and keep getting more stuff out there for readers to consume.
One of the most exciting features is Google Maps 5.0 with 3D interaction and don't forget
about the built in support for the Google
eBook Store and thousands of apps from Android Market.
They also sell your
ebooks on their own online
store and make your
ebook available for sale in just
about every format that exists and to top it off they do all of that for free!
But the pieces of the Scribd
store I'm most excited
about is the real - time reporting (compared with a lag of a month or more with most
ebook resellers, including Amazon), the option to easily provide free updates to existing content, and the variety of adjustable display options — like preview amount, refreshingly optional DRM, and purchase - link images.
