Since the gospel is about all of life, and since the gospel invites us to live as though the new heavens and new earth were already here, then the gospel also invites us to live as if we never left the Garden of Eden.

We don't have a very big yard here and just got done converting about two - thirds of the backyard into a playground mulchy play area for the kids (as well as some raised garden beds for me), so the amount of grass we have back there is minimal.
We're not talking about lawns here of course — which are possibly the worst thing to have in a low maintenance garden, due to the upkeep and care they require — but ornamental varieties that can sit pretty amongst flower beds or rockeries are your best choice.

As all the beds are full, I find myself filling pots and scattering them about here and there in the garden as I remember that I wanted to try that thai basil, or that the amount of sage I planted just really isn't enough, or what about those eggplant seedlings?
