I wouldn't put it passed me to have shuffled a stack of chocolate chips and glass of milk into my face and called it the most important meal of the
day once or twice, but I'm talking
about these bad boys, that you can actually eat for breakfast and still earn your gold star for whole
grains and fruit first thing in the morning.
But one
day while making regular coconut milk kefir, I accidentally dumped my water kefir
grains (instead of the milk kefir
grains) and
about 1/4 cup of pre-made water kefir into the wrong container.
However, they don't offer as much information
about their
grains as I want to see these
days.
There are some
days where I'm all
about paleo and I want all the
grain - free desserts and all the protein I can stuff into my mouth at once.

days ago I started a new culture of kefir
grains (sadly, they're now widely available for SALE rather than giveaway), and I'm very optimistic than at least in one sense or another, I'm

grains and other ways, I forget all the different ways I tried) then figured out that all I had to do is use a spoon of the previous batch to inoculate a container of fresh milk and leave it on the counter for

days and I had perfect kefir.
Then I read some things
about processed foods to be given... Rice puffs to help their dexterity and learned
about the whole extrusion process, what's their they, I started reading
about grains and all the stuff, and then it was a couple of
days after that, that my buddy introduced me to Bulletproof coffee.

days a week I am vigilant
about eating healthy (fruits, veggies, lean meats, two servings of
grains).
I eat quite a lot of nuts / seeds,
about 2 servings of soy products per
day, and quite a lot of
grains.
I bought a spoonful a few months ago, and I am able to make
about half a pint of kefir almost every
day, but the quantity of
grains isn't increasing.
I sent one that took
about 4
days to get to the recipient and all was well — the
grains were fine and could be used right away!
So, statistically, bread /
grains makes up
about 1 - 3 % of my diet; 5 % on a «living the good life»
day / week / month.

Just to expand, eating a well balanced WFPB diet (which means including all the plant food groups each

grains, veggies, fruit, legumes, and nuts / seeds — no need to get too fussy
about the relative amounts of each) and consuming an appropriate amount of food (based on your caloric needs) is GUARANTEED to provide all the protein you body needs.
Oh, but I do have a cheat meal (pizza or «healthy» frozen foods) just
about every
day and I end up eating lots of «healthy» cheats too (dark chocolate, whole
grain corn tortilla chips, popcorn).
Through a friend of mine, I heard
about an eating program called the «Whole 30» where for 30
days, all dairy,
grains, legumes, sugar, alcohol and processed foods are removed from your diet.

about for the next 5
days eat all the vegetables, beans, fruits, and whole unprocessed
grains you need to feel satisfied with every meal.

With that in mind, I'll take $ 20 any -
day to buy an active
grain culture, smile
about it, and know that I'll always come out ahead even I get charged $ 30 or $ 40 for a live culture.
Pour off the liquid from the
grains after
about 2
days and refrigerate until the sweetness or non-sweetness you require.
