Peach season is
just about here and I need to share the recipe for my favorite
green smoothie ever — it's called Mint Julep Sweet Tea.

greens) so all I have to do is pull and blend I put
about 10oz in a shaker bottle with protein powder and Chia seeds.

One of the great things
about making a
smoothie or a juice or heck, even
just eating some raw
greens is the fiber and the nutrients can really help balance out your sugar highs and lows if you've had an NSA day or even a rough night out.

about kale (we have had it several times since we were there) and

just had a wonderful experience cooking together.

Smoothies and juicing are other very suitable examples of what I consider reset foods, but there is something
about salads that is
just so satisfying — maybe it's the crunch, the vibrant colors, the nourishing
greens or all the different flavors cohesively mixed together in one single dish.
Health isn't
just about green smoothies, kale and shots of wheatgrass (although I love all of those things, minus the wheatgrass possibly as I've yet to try it!).
Try ice cubes made of
green tea for another layer of flavor and nutrition in
just about any
smoothie you like.
Green tea goes perfectly in
just about any
smoothie, especially
smoothies made with vegetables such as spinach, kale, celery, or cucumbers.
I have found that lemon or lime rind will brighten and lighten
just about any
green laden
smoothie.
I have a bajillion of these, and I'll talk
about other stuff sometimes and sprinkle these in,
just to keep you motivated with others» fun tales of their health improving: I tried the
green smoothie after juicing for several years.
Also great for anyone (kids or adults) who doesn't like veggies,
just sneak a scoop of PhytoGreens into a
smoothie and never feel guilty again
about not eating your
greens.
