One of the strangest sensations
about heading home for the holidays is the innate excitement and joy that comes with it — the anticipation of seeing family: nieces and nephews, brothers and

new babies, grandparents, friends you've had since you were 9, and everything in between.
So, now that we're
about to have a
baby boy (or at least, we're 99 % going to have a
baby boy), I'll either have to dress my little man in his
sister's old clothes (dyeing the girly clothes blue has crossed my mind and yes, some crafty parents — like Polly Conner of Thriving Home blog — have done this), or I'll have to amass a
new wardrobe of more «boyish» designs.
These classes can include lessons on how to hold a
baby, explanations of how a
baby is born, and opportunities for kids to discuss their feelings
about having a
new brother or
sister.
